great features

Love the look of this unit and its features. The inside is beautiful and so easy to keep clean. The additional rack is a great feature that I've yet to try but I like the fact that I have that option. I love the auto fan feature and the preset options. I even love the fact that there is nice tone at the end of the cooking process instead of an annoying loud beep.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Good and The Bad

I bought this microwave to match our recent Whirlpool white ice refrigerator purchase. We're in the process of updating appliances and I really love the silver trim on white appearance.The Good:*Contemporary, sleek design and looks nice in the kitchen.*White Ice - Silver handles and trim on white*Low price pointThe Bad:*Features and performance match the low price point. This is not a high end product thought it works fine.*No express cook button*Panel is not intuitive and it takes too many steps to complete a task, "reheat" for example.*Sensor cooking is hit or miss. Sometimes food comes out too cold, sometimes too hot, and sometimes just right.*Sorry, but I really dislike the chime that tells you your food is ready.*A minor irritation but the digital clock displays "am" or "pm" and can't be turned off. It's unnecessary and just seems like clutter in an otherwise sleek design.Overall, it looks great and cooks your food but I would have preferred a higher end, white ice microwave.

Excellent Features

We upgraded some items in our kitchen and this item has exceeded my expectations. They thought of everything when it came to options and features. Its smart sensing technology has made my life easier in the kitchen. Would recommend this product to others.

This microwave looks beautiful and performs well. The presets are ok and I wish there were 1 button minutes button. Otherwise I am very happy with the microwave.

This product is too loud!

Every once in a while, Consumer Reports magazine really likes some car but can't recommend it because of one, overarching problem. Do you know what I mean?This microwave is like that. It's great. We love it. It looks great, works great and has positively the best "popcorn" setting we've ever used on a microwave.But we can't recommend it because of the sound levels. The thing is like a friggin' jet taking off. The first time we used it our cats took off running like they'd never heard a microwave before. (They had.) Our neighbors came over and said it sounded like a leaf blower.We have friends outfitting a modular cabin with all new appliances and we regretfully had to recommend against the Whirlpool.Fix this overly loud sound problem and you've got a great product!
