Good Value at this price point

This unit replaced a lower grade Whirlpool unit that was mostly plastic. The old unit had begun to crack around the door. Sought out a unit that would have metal for a door and this model fit the bill. The performance of the previous uni was never an issue, the fan on the Whirlpool unit has a higher cfm than many others and it's noise rating is slightly better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very pleased with the Whirlpool 2.0 cu.ft. microwave/oven hood combination. The draft fan is powerful enough to pull steam/hot air out of the kitchen when I am cooking several things on the stove. The interior is also easy to clean with the non-stick coating. Also, the electronic signal that cooking has finished is pleasant. The only feature that I would like to have is to be able to pause cooking without opening the door. One option that may need revision is the potato-cooking one. I followed the cooking directions for four potatoes, but the microwave appeared to overheat the potatoes (cooking did not cease when the potatoes were sufficiently hot). Overall, I am impressed with this appliance.

Great Microwave for a Great Price!

This is a great microwave. Easy to install, very quiet and visually pleasing. The coating on inside makes it easy to clean. There are more settings and functions than I know what to do with and the wire rack they provide is a nice touch for multiple items. We have been using for 5 months now and it is flawless. Would definitely recommend.

First off, I have the white ice and it is beautiful. There are tons of setting choices so nothing comes out overdone or tough. Its quiet and I love the unique tone it plays when its done. Time display is a subtle light aqua which looks so pretty at night.

Great oven but needs backlit buttons

I bought this microwave as it got great reviews. It performs very well but the one thing that drives me crazy is the lack of backlit menus. The lettering is hard to read unless you have direct lighting hitting the front of the microwave. In the showroom, it wasn't an issue but when we got home, it was a problem. A reminder nag beep for the timer would be good too.

Bought this along with other Whirlpool appliances in a kitchen remodel. This looks great and has nice features. It reheats pizza perfectly and dinner plates are heated nicely with the sensor feature. Highly recommend.
