Love the thing

bought it a month ago to replace my expired unit it fit where range hood was.Darn quiet, mighty powerful , love the revolving center my old unit did not have . this is a super micro wave..i would buy again

This microwave is a great improvement from my old Whirlpool one that was almost 20 years old. I'm especially enjoying the turntable which was not on the old one and also all the settings being on the control panel. My granddaughter loves the tune when timing ends! My only problem was the unit was slightly damaged on the right front - cabinet panel is bent & bottom right corner. Because of timing, we had to go ahead and install it.

Better than my old kitchenaid!

I bought this Whirlpool microwave about 3 weeks ago to replace a 10 year old Kitchen Aid that would have cost me more to fix than replace. The only big complaint I have is I wish the microwave manufactures would come up with a universal mounting system, it would make for a much easier installation for the consumer. That said, I have installed several over the stove microwaves in the past and have to say this was the easiest. The old Kitchen Aid did not have "Sensor Cooking" and was a much noisier microwave. The Sensor Cooking works well sometimes but other times had to add extra time to make sure food was heated all the way through. My wife says the Popcorn setting works better than the old microwave with less un-popped kernels. We like the add "30 seconds" button where the old one had a add "1 minute" button which was sometimes to long. So far I am happy that we choose a Whirlpool to replace our old Kitchen Aid. We hope we get more than 10 years use with the Whirlpool before having to replace it like we did with the old Kitchen Aid.

Lost without it

Microwaves used to be for making popcorn, and nothing else.That is no longer true. Our Sunday brunches are now stay at home feasts. My BH (better half) now makes omelets in the microwave and they are as fluffy as cotton candy. I discovered that bacon cooked in our new appliance is virtually greaseless. Put the two together, and there is no reason to leave the house on a Sunday morning.
