THIS MICROWAVE IS NOISY WHEN IN USE AND IT WOULD BE NICE IF THE TIMER CONTROLS WERE ABLE TO BE ACTIVATED BY USING ONE DIGIT SIMILAR TO THE ONE WE REPLACED.

We have only owned the unit for a short time, but we have been happy with it so far. Some features do take a few steps on the touchpad to initiate. The sound is pretty soft, so if you have a large house, you might not be able to hear it everywhere. So far we have felt that it is less annoying than the louder units. It has a more boxy appearance than the model it replaces.

Great Microwave

We have been using our microwave for about a month now. The noise is not loud, but I guess it could be quieter. I wish we would have been able to vent outside, but my contractor said the only option to vent outside was from the top. I'm not sure how true that is. Everything else is awesome. I especially love the auto sensor setting for popcorn! Perfect every time!

Great Microwave!

We purchased this microwave as a replacement to our old faithful. So far so good. Works great, has plenty (but not too many) features and is huge inside. Cooks much quicker than our old GE unit, looks great and is reasonably quiet. Would buy again!

Great Microwave

This microwave matches our kitchen and we enjoy the many great features such as soften (Butter, Cream Cheese, Ice Cream), Vegetables, reheat, etc. It seems to cook and heat evenly and we've had no problems. I do wish it had more of a nightlight feature like a previous one we owned .

timer sound level

the timer is very hard to hear unless you are standing right in front of the microwave. also, for a 1000 watt microwave, it seems to take longer for everything to cook than my previous microwave.
