My new favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An iron that works as great as it looks! I know it’s just an iron, but the color is pretty.
I was surprised by how fast it heated up. The steam is ready shortly after turning it on.
The non-stick surface makes ironing easy. The shape helps to get the iron into narrow areas for a more thorough job.
It has a great steam function. The best part is the vertical steaming.
That is really nice for items that you can’t iron.
I was going to use this iron as my back up, but after trying it, I’ll use it as my primary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hamilton Beach Durathon Iron is so light that my arthritis hands worked fine and easy with the IRON , sprayer was full spray one push of the knob the water covered a nice section of the material I was ironing , not using the iron twice the wrinkles where smooth with ease . check out the Hamilton Beach Durathon Iron ..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is fantastic, did a great job ironing clothes glides smoothly all the fabric, way better than what we have, very lightweight too, easy to use and the steam features works really well and i love that i can steam clothes even they are still on the hanger!

Cons: stinks when heating up
The Hamilton Beach Durathon Nonstick Soleplate Iron is really nice but it smells really bad when heating up. The instructions for this Iron are very straightforward and easy to understand. To use without steam you simply plug the iron in, choose the fabric type, wait 2 minutes for it to heat up (it beeps when ready) and then iron as normal. The iron easily glides over fabric with the nonstick plate and it does a great job at getting wrinkles out. To use the steam portion of this iron you simply add in tap water, plug it in, choose the setting, wait 2 minutes for it to heat up, adjust the steam dial and use the spray or burst steam buttons as needed. This portion of the iron also works as anticipated. It’s very easy to fill, and use the buttons. When finished you turn the dial to off and unplug it. Once cool you can drain any water leftover and that it.
All in all, this is a very nice iron. It’s very easy to use both as a traditional iron and as a steam iron. It heats up fast, it glides over fabric nicely, and it works really well. I would absolutely recommend it!

Does everything you want!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really a very nice little iron. It's lightweight, has a nice long power cord, smooth surface, and almost makes ironing fun. One feature that I particularly like is that if you place the iron down it will beep after a few seconds to let you know that you are about to burn whatever your ironing! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good old-fashioned, lightweight iron.

If it was a car, it would be a luxury car

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had a chance to use this iron for a while I would have to say, like the title of my review, if this is a car it would be a luxury car, because it’s loaded with features.
I’ve ironed shirts, jeans and slacks and have to say that it does a really good job. It glides along thanks to the nonstick plate, and when I need steam on a wrinkle it provides a shot of steam with no problem. The reservoir holds enough to ensure it won’t go dry while you’re ironing.
The nonstick plate glides along the fabric with no problem, the handle is designed to be easy to hold, the temperature control is easy to see, offers a wide range of temperatures for just about any fabric and can be adjusted easily.
The reservoir is easy to fil, it heats up fast and the cord is long enough to allow you to iron just about anything. The adjustable temperature means you don’t have to worry about scorching delicate things, being a man, I really don’t have too many delicate things to worry about but if I did it wouldn’t be scorching them.
I think it’s a good value, it has all the features that I want, it’s easy to use, feels solid and well built. I think it will give me years of use.

I could not love this iron more!

The features make the task of ironing a much more pleasant experience. Every thing just works beautifully, from the longer cord to how perfect the steam works to freshen my sweaters.
