A product with the best of everything

We have the double oven and the performance is great. The features are plentiful. We love the slow cook for stews and making hot beef. It’s also wonderful for ribs. When we bake the cakes and cookies always come out perfect. The racks are easy to clean and adjust easily. The interior is simple to wash out. We haven’t had to use the self cleaning feature. We love the fact that the doors can be removed to help facilitate cleaning. The fact that the heating element on the bottom is covered make spills and runs clean up easily. The only word of caution is be careful with the glass in the front of the doors. We bumped the top door glass and it shattered. Knowing this we recommend extra caution when cleaning the door. As a final word we looked at all the brands of built in ovens and we feel we got the best you can buy.

Wonderful Wall Doulbe Oven

I really like this oven. This oven has more features than I will ever use but I like the fact that the option is there. The best feature about this oven is the sliding oven racks. The racks glide open so smoothly even while supporting a 23+ lb turkey.
There are too many features that I like about this oven but I do like the fact that it is very easy to operate and use without reading the manual. Usually with a new appliance there is a little bit of reading and time needed to get up to speed but I was using the oven immediately right after installation and using many of the advanced features.
Some features that need improvement are the timers which are mainly a usability setting. Whenever I am baking cookies I want to set the timer for 12 minutes, so the way my brain works is to punich in 12 and 00. Well that sets the timer for 12 hours. I have now figured that out but for the first few times using the oven I set it for the 12 hours. The only other thing that I have noticed is that the cooking times have increased a little bit since my last oven but I have now adjusted to that too.
Overall I would highly recommend this oven. It is at a highly competitive price point and would recommend getting the model with the wave touch controls as it provides more of the slide out oven racks.

We chose this oven because of the easy glide racks and all of the cooking features. At this price point, I was expecting great things. I am not impressed. It takes forever to pre heat and food does not cook evenly. I have never burned a meal before, but have burned two so far with this oven. Food does not cook well in the center, nor does it brown well, yet the bottom and edges get over done. French fries do not get crisp. All of the bells and whistles do not make up for poor performance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my ovens! I get incredible results no matter what i put in! Whether it is baking a cake or roasting meat, I am always satisfied! I love the temperature probe, no mre over cooking. And the multistage cooking button is great for proofing,baking and holding my breads!! Would not trade it for anything else!!!!

In need of a new oven

My old oven finally gave up the ghost and I started my research for a new oven, that would have to fit in the space I had. After researching all the ovens on the market I decided on the Electrolux 27” Double wall oven. I have had other Electrolux appliances and they always were dependable and stylish. A kitchen should not only be functional but look great when you are not using it. I especially liked the perfect Turkey feature and the easy self cleaning features, not to leave out the easy roll out racks. All things considered I think I got the best bang for my Buck.

This oven is terrific, my only regret is not having the space for the 30". More money than most but well worth it! Great looking to with no obvious dials or button, everything is hidden until you touch to activate control panel!

Love my Electrolux double oven!

This is a great oven with many easy to use features all selected from an intuitive touch control panel. We have had a single oven for a while and really missed having a double oven. After buying an Electrolux refrigerator and dishwasher, we decided to replace our oven with a matching stainless steel double oven. Now our kitchen is full of high quality appliances with a great appearance and excellent functionality, and we couldn't be happier! One of the little things we really like about the oven is how easily and smoothly the racks slide in and out. Most importantly, it is easy to use and does a great job baking, convection baking, and roasting food.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my new double ovens! The display panel is easy to use and I have enjoyed learning to use the convection oven. I have not had the opportunity to try all the features but the the rapid preheat option is great! The easy glide oven racks are the best part of all!
The only downside is the interior depth is slightly smaller than my previous oven and one of my favorite pans will not fit. I would also prefer more stainless steel and less black glass on the exterior.
