Once the water is boiled, the handle is too hot to hold, need cloth to pour the water out.
Pros: Compact
Cons: Too hot to hold

We received this as a wedding gift and it has been used regularly for the past 5 years. Right away, we noticed that once water is boiled, the handle is too hot to touch. Over the past year, though, it’s been even more disappointing. The spout has melted, we assume, due to our gas stove. This is unfortunate, given that the kettle is advertised as “all range compatible.”
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
