It sounds good but it's not very user friendly. Cheaper models are Bluetooth equipped. I can't get it formatted to fit my screen no matter what. I wanted to return it but I bought it for my boy friend before Christmas and missed out on my time to return.

Worst piece of junk I have every bought

This is the first and last sony product I will buy. I have had the system for eight months and it quit working. They want me to mail it to Texas for repair. What am I suppose to do in the meantime? They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. For the price of this system I expect better service. All my other purchases have been LG and Samsung. Bet there will never be another Sony product in my house. I am sure telling all my friends and family how bad their products and service is.

only worked for 2 days

I bought this unit and a Sharp Aquos 60 in TV at the same time. Everything worked fine for 2 days. Then my iPod wouldn't play anymore. I spent a week unhooking everything and setting it back up, reading manuals and googling solutions but never could figure out the problem. The FM tuner, DVD player and TV sound worked but the iPod wouldn't play. I could see the songs and select them so I don't know why pressing play wouldn't work.
For $500, I expected more than 2 days of use. I returned this and the TV to the store, since I didn't know which one was the problem. Very disappointed.
What's great about it: easy set up
What's not so great: iPod dock stopped working
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

JUNK NO BASS WIRED SPEAKERS AND SHORTS OUT !!!

I bought this cause it said it had wireless rear speakers IT DOES NOT THEY ARE WIRED WITH A MODULE! SECOND THIS HAS NO POWERED SUB THE SUB IS LIKE 6 INCHES JUST JUNK.I BOUGHT THIS CAUSE I THOUGHT I WOULD BE ABLE TO USE MY IPHONE WITH IT.WELL IT SHORTS THE UNIT OUT WHENEVER I PLUG IT IN SOMETIMES IT MAKES A HORRIBLE NOISE AND WOULD WAKE EVERYONE UP IN THE HOUSE WHEN YOU PLUG IN YOUR I PHONE!I HAVE TO TURN IT OFF PLUG MY IPHONE UP THEN TURN IT ON OR ELSE IT WILL SHORT THE WHOLE SYSTEM OUT !!THIS UNIT IS ABOUT 50% OVERPRICED

I love my Sony 3D Blue ray DVD surround sound system. It is like being at a high dollar movie! I am able to get on wifi to view Netflix, Pandora, and other favorite Apps like Facebook. Their customer service is awesome too!
