[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleased withe the TV, overall. Took some time to figure out the settings. Even after I did, I still feel the process of adjustments is a bit tedious. But, the result after getting it the way I want is very good. I am not impressed with the sound quality during some programs. I may end up going with a sound bar. The overall sound is acceptable, but definitely could be better. My third LG device, still not been disappointed.
Pros: Performance, Quality

Blue Screen in 15 minutes after turning TV on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought LG 43UF6430 4K UHD Smart LED TV 2-3 years back. Due to unexpected situation at home, we never open the TV box till today. Today my husband removed the TV from box. After installing the legs and putting it on TV stand, he plugged the power cable in socket. He used remote which came along with box to switched on the TV. TV started. He gone through initial set up. We don't have cable, so he connected TV to WIFI. He clicked on YouTube app where TV prompted him to update the app. He did that. Then he tried to play kids video (Peppa Pig) on YouTube, screen went dark. Nothing is coming up on screen. Whenever TV is turn on, BLUE COLOR is showing on screen.
I am feeling really bad that we didn't open this TV when we bought it. We could have noticed this issue right away and could have returned it to retailer. I am fan of LG products; however I really disappointed with TV experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great picture quality

I purchase this TV with the anticipation that 4K would be over kill, and its not. Aside from the resolution the TV has amazing quality so even when you're watching 1080p video you'll be able to appreciate the amazing quality. The audio quality is pure and crisp and plenty loud but it lacks any bass, which is to be expected. I dony buy speakers for the appearance. The sticker price is well worth it. Buy it

I wasn't in the mood to purchase a 4K television, but when I saw this one on sale, I decided to give it a test run. I am especially pleased by its ease of use, numerous apps... And then, its picture quality! I have no plans on using the 4K part, however, it gives a beautiful picture quality to even 720p or less programs. I am extremely happy. So happy I bought another LG 4K tv for my bedroom.

Great 4K TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in December 2015 and it has been working flawlessly. Sound is much better than most TVs. There is no need to use sound bar for regular TV programs. Picture once adjusted is sharp and produces natural color.
