Bought the magnetic antenna to make my Midland portable CB radio into a more versatile unit. Now I can use it in my Jeep or F-150, simply by switching the magnet antenna from vehicles. Inexpensive way to have a CB in multiple vehicles. Highly recommend both the 75-822 Portable CB Radio and the 18-2442 Magnetic Mount Antenna!!!

Unfortunately, the roof-mounted antenna does nothing to help the reception of my Midland 75822 Handheld CB Radio. It's probably not the fault of the antenna. The radio is the problem. It is not up to the task either as a hand-held unit or when it is powered from the car and connected to the roof-mounted antenna.
