[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've actually been very impressed by this unit. The picture quality is awesome and the sound is excellent. The remote is laid out so well that it's easy to read and use. I just love the Smart TV options and having all the different menu items to choose from. I highly recommend this TV to anyone in the market for a 55" big screen.

Slingtv smart app has serious issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased an LG tv solely for the fact that they had a newly formed agreement with SlingTV. We have been slingtv costumers for over a year now and loved it on Roku with our “non” smart tv. We purchased this new smart LG because it had sling built in and the app hardly works. It constantly buffers and blacks out, Espn has sound issues. After contacting SlingTV they have done with they could on their need and said any remaining issues belong with Lg.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Picture

TV was relatively easy to setup and even easier to add cable box and various DVD/VCR players. Best part is the great picture. I have owned several plasma TVs and always thought their pictures would always be superior to any LED TV. This TV has as good or better picture than my plasma TVs.
