HDMI bug

We have problems with this tv when we switch to watch Netflix or Amazon via the Smart TV function, and then try to go back to any HDMI port that the satellite box is connected to. The TV loses the ability to recognize that there is a signal in the HDMI port. The ports are fine because if you remove the cable and then plug it back into the tv, the picture returns. Very inconvenient for a 4K TV of a major brand to have this type of issue. Always bought LG tv's in the past, but our next purchases will be another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Short lifespan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Read the recent reviews! They echoed my experience where the tv died after less than 3 years and it was rarely used - once every 2 months or so.
Poor QC. My other LCD tv from 8 years ago is still going strong.
Pros: Style/Design

4 Years Later...

So people are leaving current reviews (2020) and are asking why is doesn't have Disney+ available for download or why Hulu doesn't work no more because there is no update available... This tv is not a new model. I have had my 55UF6450 for 4 years and love it! My tv was made March 2016 and I have not lost color quality or sound quality. This tv does not have a 120Hz refresh rate, it has 60Hz. Its perfect for a family room tv (since almost everything none gaming uses nothing over 60Hz) and I highly recommend this tv.

I first bought another brand of 4K TV. I ended up returning up because the viewing angle was so narrow and the even after calibration the colors were not right. This is the first TV that right out of the box, the color was stunning. I only had to lower the color level slightly and haven't touched the controls since. Very happy!

It's been great. Nice size at 55", good price, relatively light and easy for one person to move around since we do not keep it in one spot as we rearrange the room for the holiday season.

Best TV at this Price Point

After using this model for a month, I can say this is the absolute best TV you can buy at this price point. You get a stunning 4K resolution, versatile smart connectivity with WebOS 2.0, and clear motion processing. On the audio side, the built-in speakers work remarkably well. In my one month of use, I've only found a few minor downsides. First, there are only 3 HDMI ports, so you might need to consider a switcher if you have a lot of devices. Second, the unit's two pedestals are more than 40" apart, so measure your TV stand at home accordingly. Lastly, this model does not support the LG Magic Remote, which would make typing and scrolling through menus a breeze, BUT luckily there is a workaround. The LG TV Plus app for both Android and iOS has a touchpad which gives you an on screen cursor and works equally as well as the Magic Remote. But overall, with a versatile interface, stunning picture and sound, and ability to control the TV via an app, this TV hits all of its marks for this segment.

Awesome picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this tv for my hubby for Christmas. Has an awesome picture and no problems hooking it up to our antenna. We don't have cable or satellite, just an hd antenna and this tv picked up about 22 channels. Just wish it came with a smart remote.

The Quality 4K TV with good price
