Remote does not work

I bought this 2 weeks ago. The remote now does not work. Yes, I put in new batteries (correctly) and still not working. Can't navigate the DVD so pretty useless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted a DVD player for my dvd collection. After doing a lot of research this brand and system was the best option! User friendly, simple, had it for a month so far and works so well! Not super big and bulky like the previous DVD players I’ve had. Highly recommend this product!

Whenever I want to listen to music I charge it up and play my music and watch my DVDs. The picture on this device is very clear and it has a swivel screen.
