pretty to look at; difficult to keep clean

I really like the look of my new stove, but it's not easy to keep clean. I picked the stainless top because I didn't like the heavy dark look of the black porcelain. I feel like there needs to be a better choice. But, having to remove all the grating to clean the top is a real pain to deal with. Minor spills require taking the thing apart and I'm concerned about scratching countertops or other areas of the stove when moving the grates around. The oven, is quite large tho and I'm thrilled with the efficiency and options to use convection or not.

Very pleased with my GE gas range! Do a LOT of cooking and baking and have had great results. Cleans up very easily.

Looks great in kitchen. Made cookies and they finally came out like I wanted. Oven temperature is consistent, unlike old gas range. First convection oven so still trying to figure that part out-not much explanation in book. Very heavy to get into house with the cast iron grates but we made it. So far so good-took over a month to get here but....

I bought this appliance right before the Christmas holiday, and was so happy with this performance (the constant cooking and baking), and how nice it looks. It has a commercial look while performing as a convention oven should. It's easy to clean...and I love the steam cleaning option, just takes 30 minutes to clean the oven vs. 2-3 hrs.
