By now, most of us have plenty of experience with a smart phone. This is my first Galaxy (an S6), which I find to be a wonderful phone, no doubt, but I honestly don't think there's any cutting edge technology going on here. I do like it very much, though. It does exactly what I want it to do, and that's all that counts at the end of the day.
The bad: (very, very minor) I'm not a fan of where the volume buttons are, or how incredibly slippery the device is, or how slow the reaction time is when I'm trying to dismiss a page/window. In fact, I am used to a quicker device, with a much better reaction time. Also, the keyboard lacks, as does the so called 'learning' dictionary/predictive text'. I know I can use other keyboards, I just choose to learn the Samsung keyboard as there are some aspects of the keyboard that I like very much.
With that said, overall, I do like the device, but I'm not in love with it just yet. I've only had it for two weeks, though, and I can definitely see not being able to live without it, in the future.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!

When I got a chance to upgrade to a newer phone I decided to stick with a reliable Samsung Android model and I have yet to be let down! The phone has a great shape and size, a wonderful camera with a plethora of functions and added functions and features which make communication with friends and family a breeze!
First let me day that I love this phone...the display is clear, precise, and easily personalized. The only big frustration that I have is the initial security for inputting a password to get into the phone--the screen goes back to sleep WAY too quickly, so that it is very difficult to have a good password due to a lack of time for inputting it to open the phone. Otherwise, I love this phone, especially the unique and wide variety of available apps and the fantastic maps/gps app, after exploring and using it for several weeks.
As a former iPhone user, I've struggled to transition to the android. The bells and whistles on this phone are fantastic, but I feel like the basic functions, including making phone calls, texting, and email are more challenging and unnecessarily convoluted compared to the iPhone.
Pros: great camera, remote control
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, no one touch dialing, voicemail not integrated with the phone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Most reliable device I have owned. Beats their competitors hands down.
