I absolutely love my Galaxy 6! Not only is it a great phone, it helps simply my life. The camera takes amazing photos and video. I can keep track of all my email, social media and my personal financial accounts. The screen makes viewing video or ebooks enjoyable.
I was so excited when samsung featured the S6 and curve, ever since i switch to samsung gadgets they never fail me it is very friendly user and all the features i wanted, samsung has always been there. Every capture of my moments samsung always enhance and every sounds they produce samsung always inspire and this is why i always believed in samsung. :)
It's fast, slick and solid - nothing like a little weight to make you feel like you're carrying something real. It's not too big for fitting into pant pockets, but it can be large for those with small hands. I wish this was an Active version (mandatory for people who love to spend time at the pool/beach/with kids).
Great camera, and one of the best at capturing in low-light what I want - I've used this to replace my point-and-shoot. Speakers - wish they were at the front! Ah, well, probably the weakest part of the hardware overall. Glass on both sides solid and the charger was quick - though the phone does get very hot, very quickly. Downside- no additional memory card slot like the S4/S5 and battery can't be replaced on your own, means this phone is designed to be obsolete in a couple years. Not excited about that, but hopefully Samsung will open a few more stores or service centers around the US to fix any issues that come up (no, I don't want to have to mail my phone in to get it fixed... seriously). Good thing - chargers from S4 and S5 can be used (though not superfast charging, which is okay), meaning I don't need to replace my car, work, and spare home chargers (which would be a pain). Will this replace credit cards in the future? Haven't tested that internationally, yet.
The software - Android at its best, but some of the defaults are messy. Could be the service provider, but the phone was set to save contacts to the phone by default (should always be to a cloud provider), download application updates all the time (should be set to default to wifi only), and couldn't set a plain black background (only photos? got around this by taking a photo with the camera covered, but if I wanted blue, it'd be not so easy....). Thankfully allowed me to go into the application settings to disable all kinds of vaporware that the service provider installed. Love the swipe to camera and call feature. Good that they enabled the option to leave a message in case you lose your phone.
Overall, solid phone with some great design features and motion commands, but disappointing to find they dropped some of the more useful features like the Active version, a replaceable battery and memory card slot. Good for people with slightly bigger hands (I don't know about you, but if they get any bigger like the note, we're all going to have to carry a bag to lug these around).
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, camera, fast, solid feeling, application manager solid, just big enough, charges quickly, uses prior charging types, lots of motion commands, swype & samsung swype
Cons: can't replace battery, no memory card slot like earlier versions, not for small-handed people, gets hot while charging, not waterproof, few service locations
I would recommend this to a friend!
