The performance and the speed of the phone are great. The color of the images are bright, is lightweighted and easy to manage with one hand. The size is apropiate.
It's fast, very fast. The bright screen colors and clarity are great. The camera is amazing. The battery is far better than my old S4 and nearly as good as my wife's S5. I think the efficiencies of the processor, display, and overall device has a lot to do with that. As far as mobile phones go the size is about all the bigger I'd ever want. I really like the wireless charging and fingerprint scanner. Personally I would have preferred the headphones jack on the top but that can be easily remedied with bluetooth headsets. (More expense) I also need to get used to the placement of the on/off button on the middle side. It makes landscape viewing of the device and using the volume buttons a little troublesome. Plus it doesn't work well with some phone holders. I don't miss the user added SDcard. I find the builtin memory works very nicely. That said it's extremely expensive memory and I feel that I've just helped a Samsung executive/stockholder buy a new car. Out of the box I did have several very small surface scratches on the face. (I didn't really look at the back too closely.) These are only really noticable with the device off and a side light shining on it. With a screen protector you can't see them at all. So I decided to keep this one. Mainly because I wasn't sure if a new one would be any better and like I said they were nearly invisible. Price is on the high side for a device that has a life expectancy of about 2 years. If it were to go up any more I doubt that I could justify the purchase. I'm really looking forward to getting Samsung Pay in the near future. This, plus the improvements from my old S4 already mentioned, is one of the top reasons I got this device.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, wireless charging, battery life
I like the look and performance of this product. The only thing missing is the hands free feature that the S4 had. I used it all the time and really miss having it. Overall though I'm happy with my choice. It takes great pictures and I use that a lot!
My Samsung galaxy S3 went out of commision and I upgraded to the Samsung galaxy S6. I love it! It blew my expectations out of the water and couldn't be happier! The one thing that iso a downer is the price. A little steep for me but oh well!
I bought my S6 never expecting to really understand why other people were constantly attached to their phones but my S6 has shown me the light. I simply cannot stop using it to look things up or check things even with a laptop right in front of me that could do the very same search. I just prefer to use my S6. Typing is so much easier than it was on my old phone.
I love the size (fits my hand perfectly!), speed, crispness of the display and all of the features that I never knew I wanted/needed...like how long it's going to take to get to the office. What!!??! Who doesn't want that feature when you're running late on a Monday morning?!!? And all of the built-in gifts...who knew? I have other devices but prefer to read on my S6 (and I read a lot!)...it's just easier on my eyes. Amen for my S6!!
I used to look at my last phone as simply something to have in case I needed to call someone in an emergency or look up a phone number. There was no joy in having it...I just did. But with my S6 I spend time making other phone users sick to their stomachs that they bought something else. "Sorry...you should have waited" or "you know you want an Android now don't you?" have become my catchphrases and I am merciless in making people admit that this is the best phone they have ever seen.
I don't even go into another room (anywhere) without my phone now. I used to leave my old phone in my purse all day but my S6 lives on my desk. I get a little less work done but not so much that anyone has noticed and it's all because of my new S6! Love...pure and simple!
I just got the phone and loved it unfortunately I lost it I knew where it fell and in less than 5 minutes my phone was taken. However in the short time I had it i fell in love. I am unfortunately back with my old iPhone until I am eligible for an upgrade. Lesson learned: purchase the insurance!
