I was so excited to get this phone because I loved my S3 and tablet. Now I can't wait to get rid of it. The first one I got would not stay bluetoothed to anything. It would pair, connect once or twice and then not connect so I would have to go through the whole process again. When running errands it was VERY problematic. I returned it under wattanty and got a new one. This one had MAJOR battery drain issues. It was also exchanged under warranty. Phone number 3 has both the above issues but to a much lesser extent so I am keeping it until it is paid off and getting an HTC. The one thing I do really like about this phone is it has the best camera on any phone. It even takes better pictures than my current digital camera.
Pros: camera
Cons: battery, bluetooth, can't expand memory with sd card
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Afrer the arrival the unit simply would not turn on. I am a certified USN electronic tech. NO SCREEN NO POWER .Most likely cause short as motherboard heats up but no excitation current to ignite system to full on. nothing only heat.
Cons: sensitive, no easy access to battery like s345
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too fragile and the new bells and whistles drown out the old

I had to replace, a lost, sturdy , dropped many times, 'wet paper towel wiped off the rubbery screen protector maybe once a week’, adequate, 4 + year old Galaxy 4. You would have had to pry it out of my hands if not lost - because my stomach turns at the thought of a new device and what will follow. These are not shiny new toys - they are -burdens.
Got a S6 - Granted the service provider where I purchased, misrepresented it and the value and effect of the screen protector, never mentioned an alternative insurance thru Samsung. Only after the screen broke from minor trauma, 3 days later -- THEN I was told--chastised ! " very fragile" " screen protector prevents smudges" , so fragile "really has to have" a 'full case, - with a back' because the back is glass". From what I can see on line, salesman may have been correct that the Sport not much more resistant to breakage.
What difference does it make if its 'pretty' -or Pearl- which I chose because it is hard to find, the black cell, along with the black house phones , black remotes . Super sleek design equals slippery. I am convinced what I have is Cinderella's glass slipper and it will only be safe in a full metal jacket, on a pillow, at home!
When one can see a whole new mini industry emerging - for phones from you and your competitors, specifically and only, to " replace broken cell phone screens" - That should tell everyone, something .
Adding features, most of which few need or want, and can't easily remove or hide, makes it increasing it difficult to find what one wants, including --basics-like, the microphone. Had to add an ap to mute - and it doesn’t work as well as the ap had to add to the last one ! Getting the phone recognized by my PC was a 2 hour 2 tech ordeal because one has to get to: find about device , builder and tap 7 times to become a developer - to see and be able to access USB connection. Not in the manual . Ridiculous. This is a interconnected problem - THE INDUSTRY has decided, customers don't need to personally, back up, their own phone, on their own PC. And you can't back up much of the phone-phone part .
Same complaint as the Galaxy 4, I got mainly, as a phone, and just like the Galaxy 4- it's a lousy phone. You changed where missed call notifications are. Can't hear voice mail unless on speaker -one would think a complaint on line since 2013 would be a quick support call, not 90 mintues, to get fixed - and the fix lasted for 2 hours.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, fragile, slippery, manual inadequate, support poor
