I had really high hopes for my new phone but the battery dies just the same as my older phone and the screen protector that was recommended makes it impossible to see in sunlight.
Pros: Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

The most frustrating phone I have ever owned.

Don't get me wrong, the hardware and potential this phone has is phenomenal, but the S6 has fallen short of my expectations when it comes to meeting some requirements or having features I find fundamental to the concept of owning a Smart Phone that is intended to make my day more efficient and easier.
Whether it's the phone or the Android 5.1.1 OS, here are the issues I have found incredibly frustrating because they were once features/non-issues on my previous phones:
Battery life is terrible compared to previous phones (Average 13-16hrs of minimal use). Fingerprint is unreliable and slow. It fails half the time, and the screen always seems to time out, without a setting to lengthen the time. The phone gives a warning message anytime I want to increase the Bluetooth volume. Since this is primarily needed to increase the signal received to the car stereo, I find it incredibly dangerous to need to unlock the phone to address the warning prompt. Messages App - always assumes I want to add an additional recipient. Default has always been to jump to the message. Messages App - When tapping Messages App from home screen, I'd like it to go to the main screen of the app, no the previous message/thread read. Backing out every time is an annoyance. Messages App - doesn't mark messages read from notification bar (swipe left), need to go to app (previous issue above). I can't link Facebook Contacts. No more photos linked to Contacts. The Battery Saver dims the screen way too much.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, terrible battery, messenger app, fingerprint lock is unreliable, battery saver, speakerphone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It only took two hours to import all my contacts, apps, and files from my Galaxy S3 to the S6. Piece of cake! Would've been faster but I was watching Arrow and The Flash, and importing my 5hi7 during the commercials.
This phone is awesome. The design is just gorgeous. The display is the best. It works quite well with the Gear VR too. I love Samsung Pay and get the Cool looks everytime I use it. I would recommend this phone. The only downsides are the battery life which is OK and the finger prints on the surface of the phone.
