I'm a huge Samsung fan. I previously had the the S5, which I now miss. The battery life on the S5 is phenomenal. The S6 Edge battery life just drains so quickly. I even use this phone less and it seems that I have to recharge halfway through the day.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

On the s6 the curved glass is sexy, but not nearly as functional as the note 4.
Pros: Bright display
I would recommend this to a friend!

Phone is really good. Needs more functions for edge
I've been using a Samsung mobile device for several years now. As someone who really, really hates learning how to use a new device, I'm always cautious about upgrading to a new system. Making the switch from the S4 to the S6 Edge has proved painless and much simpler than I thought it would be. The edge features I've used are a great addition. I'm sure I'll find more fun features as I continue using it, but for now, I'm very happy with my device and would definitely recommend it.
Coming from a long line of Galaxy phones (original Galaxy S, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S4), I like most people was concerned about the lack of sd-card slot and option to swap out the battery. After having used the phone for a couple of weeks now I can say overall I'm happy with the phone.
Most days the phone survives the day on battery power, although some days only just barely. This is by far the biggest weakness with the phone. Fortunately, the phone does charge fast, even with 3rd party chargers. Wireless charging is also very nice and still fairly quick.
As for removable storage, this is less of a concern for me. There are so many options for storage these days. I don't keep music on my phone, I rely on Slacker/Pandora/iHeart/etc for music. I have quite a few pictures and videos I have taken with the phone and still have over half of the available storage free, and that's with only the 32GB model.
There are numerous reports about memory management issues. I truly believe this is an issue with the early versions of Lollipop and not so much the phone. I have heard reports from users of other phones having the same issues. Hopefully 5.1.1 will fix this and the carriers can get it pushed out quickly. Restarting the phone every few days will bring it back to normal.
