Best phone I've ever owned

I know there's this huge craze bout the iphone, but personally the Galaxy S6 is the best phone out there. Not only does it have that sleek professional look, but it's got all the features you need on a phone. It's emergency feature is one of the best additions, it's easy to use and activate in almost any occasion. The edges make the phone more adaptable to the way it falls on your hand. The speakers are extremely loud with great definition. The dual app display and the window feature on certain apps make it easy to use multiple apps at the same time. By far the best phone out there. I own the wireless charger as well, very handy and I love that I can just grab my phone use it and put it down without worrying that I'll forget to plug it in. It's adaptable to look and react the way you want it to. The screen resolution is the best I've seen on any phone, and with that 16mp rear-facing camera the pictures just could not look any better. Two hands up!
I've always been a fan of Samsung products. I own a Samsung laptop, and my past 4 smart phones have been Samsungs.
I went from an S3, to an S4, to an S5, and finally to the S6 Edge that I own today. This phone has met and exceeded all of my expectations.
Major Pros include the Camera, the battery life, the charging speed, the screen, the performance, the design, I could go on and on.
The camera is hands down the best camera I have ever seen on a phone, and the best point and shoot I've used in years. Photography is a huge hobby of mine, and when I'm out and about I'm not always ready to lug around a full sized DSLR with lenses. This phone makes it so that for almost every occasion, I have a camera in my pocket that shoots better than some DSLRs out there today. The home button double tap to open the camera is an absolute joy, and the speed with which the camera opens up is great as well.
The battery life is definitely a plus. Considering how bright the screen is and how fast the phone seems to run, I wasn't expecting it to last very long. But for every day use, it lasts me throughout the day without much issue.
When it does run low, the fast charge is what saves me. In almost no time at all I can go from an almost dead phone, to about 40 or 50 percent. I'd say 10 minutes give or take. I carry a charger in my backpack so whenever I need to, I can just find a plug and within minutes I'm topped off and ready to go.
The screen. Where do I even begin. It's a bit of a learning curve, and when I first used it I did have a few typing errors here and there. But that didn't take very long to get used to. The curved edges on the screen make the bevels seem almost non existent, and full screen photos just jump off the screen. Watching videos, sharing photos, all of it is always a good time thanks to the beautiful and vibrant screen.
One thing I haven't seen mentioned in the features is the phones auto color adjustment in bright light. Most phones have major issues in bright sunlight, and as a California resident, my sun is probably one of the strongest you'll come across. But when it detects bright sunlight, the phone seems to automatically crank the gamma up higher. It results in an image that isn't color faithful, but it's visible. And that in itself is a feature worth writing about. The most faithfully reproduced image is useless to me if I can't see it because of the sun.
Performance is a joy, any app and game I run on this is handled without hiccups, and I can safely say I've put this through it's paces. Gaming will of course run your battery down faster, but it doesn't drain it as badly as I'd suspected it would. And even after heavy use, the fast charge brings it right back up again.
The design is just top of the line. The gold with the curve and the glass back, all of it just screams quality. I almost hate putting a case on it, because it blocks the beauty of the naked phone.
The only issues you may run across are that it doesn't have a removable battery and that it doesn't have a micro SD slot. In my personal opinion, the battery issue is pretty well mitigated by the fast charge. However the lack of the card slot may make it a bit difficult to manage the storage space for some. But thanks to so many cloud services being available today, I haven't run across any memory issues yet.
I hope my review has helped you out in some way :]

It's a great phone even in 2018. If you're on a budget but want a good phone pick this one.
So from what I can tell, I'm paying more for the Edge because when I lay it face down (which I never do) and put my face level with the phone I can see a color (only on one side of phone) when one of my 5 specified contacts calls or texts etc. DUMB! And for the little display on the edge when you slide your finger up and down the side (20 or 30 times) and it will display 3 things, (one of which goes away after first scroll) then just 2 items very small. The 5 contacts on the side or edge don't even all stay there , or visible to use. Sometimes they are, and sometimes they aren't. Not worth the extra money! Just get the S6 which is the same phone without the edge. Don't like the upgrades to the Health app., the clock...why fix what ain't broken? Returning this product for sure.
Wonderful phone. I discovered that even though you're given a max of 4 fingerprints you can use, I was able to use 2 different fingers for fingerprint 1. Cool! So, you can probably use all 10 fingers to unlock your phone.
This phone is the sexiest beast on the market. Thank you Samsung for all of your amazing innovation!

Excellence in all areas. Like most people who review the phone they try to get it to lag or freeze, they do drop tests, they basically make the phone their personal play toy for destruction. But this phone held up on all ends and when I got mine on the 14th dear god I loved the freaking thing. Not a single flaw yet. Can't wait for my charging pad and case! Thank you Samsung! <3
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, god like
