I've gone from an iPhone 5 to a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (2 months ago). So far, all has been well. There are a number of different things about the phone (compared to iPhone) that take a short time to get used to--different ways to access programs/set up applications. I still need to play with it a bit more so I can take advantage of all of the features. One of the reasons I switched was the camera: fantastic pictures! My pics taken on my iPhone were not as crisp and clear. The screen on my Galaxy is bigger/wider, but not so much that it looks/feels awkward using it as a phone. The only negative I have noticed is that pages seem to take a bit longer to load sometimes--maybe it's just the strength of the wifi connection I'm using at the time, but those pages loaded more quickly with my iPhone (in the same wifi areas). Another reason for my switch was the need for more storage--I got 64gB (that should last me awhile!).
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, great pictures, easy to use
Cons: slower page-loading time
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very satisfied with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge 64 gigabyte after having some battery issues I sent it in to the manufacturer and received a new phone the new phone works perfectly fine. I was planning to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge but was disappointed that it did not feature USB type-c so I'm waiting to the Note 6
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, great camera
Cons: terrible battery life

The S6 edge is a very good phone. I'm not sure why, but I'm a sucker for the curved screen. The display is very sharp, and the edge gives a bit of a different look. I actually use the edge screen for my favorite contacts and clock display when the phone is in sleep mode.
The camera is pretty unbelievable. I've had a few people ask what camera I use when I send them pics. They think I have an digital slr or something similar.
The only downsides are that there is no expansion slot, and Samsung ditched the water resistant feature from the s5. Well, a couple months after I purchased the s6 edge, Samsung released the s7 edge, generally known as one of the best phones available, and... You guessed it... an expansion card slot and water resistance :/
Still, I'm really impressed with this phone.
Pros: Bright display, very good camera
Cons: no expansion storage, no water resistance from the s5
I would recommend this to a friend!
