First impression with followup later

Just recieved this today, so not much of a long term review. I have a shark rotator pro that works well on our rugs and carpets. This has exceeded my expectation in that I used this vacuum after the rotator pro and picked up much more dirt that the shark left behind. Also I must say that the previous review of the wand being too short baffles me. I am 5 10 and with the wand fully extended while atached to the powered brush head, the handle almost reaches my shoulder while standing. I will follow up in a month or so to add an update.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i've had this for two months I live in a small apartment and the amount of dirt it picks up every time blow me away. the power brush works amazing on my hardwood and my shag area rug. The wand easily extends and can be disconnected with the push of one button, and the cord extends and retracts so smoothly. I love this vacuum, I have one dog who sheds like crazy and its great for picking up pet hair! I highly recommend it.

This vacuum cleaner works great! It's been a while since being able to vacuum my house. I did a lot of research to find the best vacuum for shag carpet and pets. The reviews for the EL4335A were convincing, but downplayed this model.
I've had it for only about 2 weeks, but it is AMAZING!
Not only is the EL4335A lightweight, it's makes very little noise and cleans like there's no tomorrow. I can vacuum while the family is watching TV or talking without interrupting them. It even seems to pull dirt from under the carpet.
The only thing I can find wrong with this vacuum is the dirt cup could be bigger. At the moment I first got the vacuum, my carpet was in desperate need of cleaning and I have had to empty the cup rather often. Once everything is under control, I'm sure the dirt volume will be substantially less.
I highly recommend the EL4335A for anyone needing a good quality vacuum cleaner especially if you have indoor pets.

The best vacuum I've ever used

I couldnt believe how much more dirt this vacuum picked up when compared to my Shark Navigator! I vacuumed with the Navigator first and followed up with the Ultraflex expecting a bit of extra dust, in reality the ultra flex almost filled its entire dust cup with dirt the Sharlk had left behind! I am also completely surprised with how quiet this thing is! My dog normally hates the vacuum and will bite at it non stop, with the Ultraflex she didnt even flinch when I turned it on... There is no doubt that this is the best vacuum I have ever used!

Telescopic wand too short

I just received my EL4335A UltraFlex™ and have used it a couple of times. The overall cleaning is very good, but I find myself bending over to grip the hose handle because the telescopic wand is about 6 inches too short. This is hard on my back to vacuum this way. There doesn't seem to be any way to extend the length of the telescopic wand. I'm only 5' 11". For this reason I would not recommend this unless you are shorter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best vacuum for the price!

After researching all the canister types on the market I choose this one and I was not disappointed. It's powerful motor picked up twice the dirt and pet hair that my previous canister did. It's light weight makes it easier to maneuver around furniture and up the stairs. However The accessories could be improved. The multi functional brush broke only after a few weeks.
