I purchased my Otter phone case to protect my new Samsung S6.
I love the pink and green colours. Very attractive.
The case is strong, sturdy and I am confident that if I drop my phone it will protect my phone from breaking.

I would definitely buy another Otter case, well worth the money, but for the moment I am very happy with my case.

The case protects my galaxy s6 amazingly although both the original case and the replacement case broke in the same spot after about 6 months, the rubber right the power. If the case could last longer I'd give a full 5 stars.

I had been using my S6 with just a skin because I liked the looks and size of the original phone without a case. After 6 months and a couple drops with (luckily) no damage, I decided to get a case to be safe. I picked this one because it was rather simple, looked good, and offered a decent amount of protection.
It went on easy with one motion and fits snug and secure. The edging is rubber and somewhat grippy which helps keep the phone from slipping out of my hand. I expected the back to be textured and grippy too because it looks like it is, but it is entirely smooth. Ultimately, this is probably a good thing as the slick back helps the phone slide in and out of my pockets without getting caught and the grippy edge is enough to keep it in my hand.
The charging and headphone jacks are easy to access and the camera lens (which sticks out of the back a little on an S6) is now protected because of the thickness of the case. All in all, it's a great case. I wish it was a bit thinner and lighter, but hopefully that heft will save me from damage one day.

I really like this case. It is a one piece case and is quite slim and gives great protection from accidental drops.

Not as good as they use to for this model

So the first otter box i bought was for my Galaxy S3 and it was amazing!! it was the same symmetry brand with the two layer protection, with the rubber casing and a plastic piece that fits over it. However back then the rubber was thicker and the plastic was also thicker and very sturdy. I bought a symmetry Otter Box for my Galaxy S6 about a week ago and how disappointing it was. The Plastic was a lot thinner and flimsy and even the rubber piece was thinner. I really hope Otter Box starts to remember what made them successful in the first place and doesn't become another commercialized sell-out like all the other companies. Don't lose that quality that you once had in your product of the Otter Box. Don't lose what made you become who you are today. Now this could be a idea where they want you to buy the higher priced box so they make the consumer spend more for that same quality we once had.
Its too bad in my opinion. I took a picture of both box's, my Galaxy S3 Otter Box from 2013 and the one i bought a weeks ago for my S6.

From the pictures it looks like you’ve actually got yourself a couple of OtterBox Commuters, rather than the Symmetry Series, but regardless, we understand the point that you’re making. We can assure you that the differences you are seeing are based on two things: The design of the devices themselves, and also the call to action by a rather large voice of consumers that want streamlined cases for their phones. We obviously are in the protection game, and that will always be the focus, but we’ve seen a spike in the amount of people who are in the less-is-more camp. We still offer the Defender as an option for maximum protection, and we still test the Commuter and Symmetry cases like crazy so that we have extreme confidence in those as well, but we’re definitely not just try to take out material for the sake of some other motive. We do appreciate you giving us the sanity check, but we’ve definitely still got you covered.
