Great product; issue with delivery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product and plenty of space! Only issue was that it was dented and I noticed after the delivery guys had left. Make sure you check the unit before the guys leave

Large capacity

It has a lot of space, it comes with dividers( which are too small, height wise) and several baskets(which we do not prefer). Holds a lot of food. We bought the same freezer 3 years ago and loved the dividers(which are much better than the current model) so we decided to purchase another one, to hold all our meat(we raise our own beef and pork).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 40 year old freezer. The dividers could be higher and seem flimsy . We appreciate the capacity. The lid is far lighter than the lid on our old freezer. We just went through a power outage and had no problems with the freezer.

Lots of space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few months after we purchased this freezer, we noticed frost forming around the inside and on product. The lid doesn't seem to have a good seal. We had a service tech look at the product and inform us that is how the freezer is made now. A little disappointing for the cost of the freezer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

ottumc, on behalf of Frigidaire , I would like to apologize for any frustration and inconvenience this has created for you and your family. Your freezer is a manual defrost model. You will find information on defrosting on pages 9-10 in your Owner’s Manual. It is important to defrost and clean freezer when ¼ to ½ inch of frost has accumulated. Frost may tend to accumulate faster on upper part of the freezer due to warm, moist air entering the freezer when the door is opened. Remove food and leave the door open when defrosting the freezer. To avoid frequent defrosting, occasionally use a plastic scraper to remove frost. Scrape with a pulling motion. NEVER use a metal instrument to remove frost.
