Poor quality, poor workmanship

I am a professional chef and find this oven totally inadequate, especially considering the high cost of the purchase price. The only reason I didn't rate it lower than 2 stars is because the other competitor's models in this price range aren't any better. The Electrolux oven burns food anywhere near the edges of the sheet pan that you are using to bake with. The convection feature is pretty useless because that's what a real convection oven is supposed to prevent.
When the oven was delivered, the warming drawer barely got warm. I had to call for service the first week that I had the oven. The repairman said that the warming drawer was not connected properly and the motherboard and other electronics in the oven were bad and had to be replaced. Everything had to be special ordered and it took about another 2 weeks to get the parts in and installed.
Very disappointed with this oven but it's too late to return it now.

Just OK

Purchased this based on dealer recommendations. I wanted a high output burner for wok cooking. This one at 18,000 BTU's is OK but not what I was hoping for. I was looking for a double ring of fire. This burner has it but it is covered by a cap so I had to remove that when I cook. The temperature probe for cooking is a joke. It is about 30 degrees off true temperature so do not use it. You must still use a separate temp probe to tell when your food is done. Returned my first unit because of this and was given a new replacement. Still the same. Just not a good engineered part of this stove. Also the cast iron grates on top are not level.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

I am disappointed in this range. Not only did in break within the first week--but it was delivered scratched. My biggest issue with this range is an inability to have a lower temperature on the range. I turn the dial as low as it goes--and it is too high for a good simmer.

A BIT DISAPPOINTED

I had done a deal of research before I purchased this range and thought this would really be well made and a great value. Now that I have it, on installation, the oven black glass shattered and I had to deal with less than honest or reliable warranty vendors to get the glass replaced. The warming drawer door is flimsy & doesn't line up with oven drawer. Also, the book mentioned that an oven rack should fit in, but they don't. The good is that the burners and oven do work wonderfully and hopefully that will outshine all the problems I've had with it.

We were looking for a gas range with specific features: first, it looks great; center burners, warming drawer, oven/convection oven, luxury guide oven racks; easy access display; broiler; oven meat probe; clock; self-cleaning;

Installed in our remodeled kitchen along with other Electrolux appliances.
besides looking great its amazing with user friendly features like warming drawer, continuous grid, ez slide oven rack. Terrific/ consistent temp control. its truly a cooks dream. It fits in with the casual old world look we were trying to achieve.

Great Range!

We were looking for a range that was similar to a high-end professional range and this one had everything I wanted AND with a few extras. I was pleased to see an oval burner that came with a griddle/grill. The min-to-max burner is great when I want to sear a steak or put it on the lowest setting to make a béarnaise sauce.

Best value for the money

Had the new range for about 3 months now. Loved it. We did extensive research becoming buying and looked at over 50 models and brands. The price, looks, and performance of the Electrolux made it a clear choice for me.
