Good stove

We bought the stove last year. I like it so much better than the electric one it replaced! I would recommend it but it does have a couple of quirks. I usually bake at a temperature 5 degrees higher than the recipe calls for and after cleaning the stovetop one of the burners has to be lit by hand for a few days. I do really like the stove and I'm glad that we purchased it.

THIS OVEN HAD PROBLEMS WHEN BRAND NEW

WE BOUGHT THIS OVEN NEW AND HAD MULTIPLE ISSUES WITH IT RIGHT AWAY. ON THE FIRST DAY DURING INSTALLATION THE OVEN CAME OUT OF THE BOX WITH THE GLASS BROKEN ON THE FRONT DOOR. I CAN'T BLAME THIS ON THE MANUFACTURER SINCE IT COULD HAVE BROKEN DURING TRANSPORT. NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL SINCE IT WAS REPLACED AFTER THREE WEEKS. THEN I NOTICED THE CONVECTION FAN DIDN'T SEEM TO RUN WHEN USING THE CONVECTION MODE. AFTER CLOSER INSPECTION THE FAN ITSELF WAS INSTALLED INCORRECTLY AND THE SHAFT WAS BINDING AGAINST THE BACK OF THE OVEN. WE JUST DON'T USE THE CONVECTION FEATURE THAT MUCH ANYWAY SO WE LEFT IT INSTEAD OF GOING THROUGH THE HASSLE OF GETTING IT SCHEDULED TO BE REPAIRED. THE FRONT PANEL VIBRATED AND MADE NOISE AFTER THE METAL SURFACE HEATED UP AND EXPANDED. I NOTICED AFTER CLEANING THAT THE FRONT DISPLAY ELECTRONICS HAD THE WIRING HARNESS ROUTED AND PINCHED WITH SCREWS DURING MANUFACTURING. IT HAS BEEN DISAPPOINTING TO SEE A PRODUCT LIKE THIS AFTER RESEARCH SHOWED THAT ELECTROLUX WAS A REPUTABLE BRAND, AND THE COMPANY HAS BEEN AROUND ALMOST 100 YEARS.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this range as a gift to myself and am pleased with the capability but expected more from Electrolux. The unit is powerful and sleek. Cleaning is easy. The racks in the oven are not as sturdy as I would have expected and the control panel is ultra sensitive which isn't always helpful. Love cooking on top but happy that I have alternative ovens for baking so that I don't have to use the inferior racks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased this about six weeks ago and I really love this range. The pros: Beautiful professional look, burners have options from low to super high, I really like the double burner and have used it quite a bit, the oven bakes like a dream. The cons: the front panel is very sensitive, every time I clean the cooktop I accidentally turn something on and the clock seems to lose time and I have to reset it about once a week. Small inconveniences that don't affect the cooking features. I love this range and would definitely buy it again.

I purchased 2 months ago and am learning to cook with gas (convert from electric). Realized oven took longer to cook food. Issue was an adjustment was required by technician to increase temp setting. Also required adjustment to stove top burners to light properly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
