Not As Good As Expected

My husband went out to buy me the best washer and dryer on the market and was told this was top of the line. They replaced a fairly young top loading washer and an archaic dryer that came with the house. I am fairly pleased with the appearance, noise level, quality of clean, and ease of use. However, a few other factors have been highly disappointing. I often have to run a load through the dryer twice before it dries completely. The washer collects grime around the seal (but I hear this is a problem with all front loaders). Also I've had a number of things, including articles of clothing as well as a sleeping bag, be destroyed in the washer (I think by too high of a spin speed).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Extra Large Capacity and Easy to Use

Best Washer & Dryer I have ever owned!

We have 2 teenage athletic boys and therefore do tons of laundry - the selection of settings are more useful than any other washer/dryer set I have ever owned. The performance is excellent - the clothes are nearly dry after the spin cycle which saves on dryer energy.
