LG settled a class action lawsuit for this and other french door refrigerators, admitting that they knowingly sold defective products.
After the class action settlement claims window closed, there is no recourse for customers who experience "no cooling events" from these defective products.
To make matters worse, this is the 3rd major LG appliance to fail within the past year, all of which were bought at the same time.
In correspondence with LG about possible remediation for their defective product, they made their position clear: we know we sold defective products, and that it's unfair for customers to incur the cost of their failure, but frankly we don't care. We expect customers just to buy another shoddy product, and it replace it in a few years also.

If I had to pick an item needing improvement it would be the freezer. Since it's counter depth, it doesn't hold near as much as our side by side. However, we love the frig overall and would purchase again.

I purchased this refrigerator 11/02/2019. It arrived with a crease on the freezer drawer front. The WDC customer service is currently trying to get the LG Refrigerator Department to replace the drawer. I have been told by WDC keeps getting questions asked from LG and so far I'm still waiting for a resolution. In the meantime I am enjoying the new refrigerator.

Great features - very small

I should start by saying that the first refrigerator we picked out was this model but in 30 cu ft. It wouldn't fit in our house (wouldn't come up to the second floor of our townhouse either up the steps or over the balcony). We had to get this model (which is 24 cu ft and 1 cu ft smaller than the side-by-side we had before). While I love the look and the features, if you need a large amount of freezer space, this is not the model for you. We were lucky to be able to keep our other one in the garage and saved ourselves some freezer space there.

We bought during 4th of July Weekend and have been very happy. Everything is easy to use and the door in door option is awesome. Has an upscale look without breaking the bank.

Wonderful features and storage space

Perfect Fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model of LG Refrigerator was a perfect fit to fill the space of an old built in. Love the features and the drawer/tray slides in the freezer. My only disappointment is that the door handle was easily nicked. Also, the "water" shield in the dispenser side does scratch easily especially if you use metal or glass. No problem in keeping the exterior clean.
