Don't be put off by second floor laundry room

I purchased this product to replace my broken front loader. It wasn't until I spoke to the sales rep that I learned that front loaders are not recommended for second floor laundry rooms. My laundry room is on the second floor. This model was on close-out so I went ahead and bought it figuring that if it really is so noisy, then I would just do laundry during the day. So far this machine is VERY QUIET. No, it's not silent, but it's no louder than any other machine I've ever used, maybe even quieter. It also has a huge capacity and so many options that I would recommend it without hesitation. Only slight issue is the length of cycles, will get used to it though.

This replaced my front loading high efficiency washer that I bought in 2000. The technology has really advanced. This one is quieter, has more features, uses much less water, spin much more water out of the clothes until I have to adjust my dryer setting which uses less electricity. Yes the clothes are cleaner.

Great peformance washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a coolist washer I've ever owned, it is a smart machine, it communicates with the dryer so all I have to do is push start on the dryer. The only thing is that the washing time is a bit too long.

My laundry room is on the second floor and I always knew when it was spinning out as the vibrations were horrible. Now we never know when the load is done until we hear the bell. And the fact that it talks to the dryer is a great bonus

We purchased this washer to replace an old inefficient washer and dryer in the house we just purchased. WOW! The washer has great load capacity, a very wide availability of load types, and excellent features. We purchased the Smart Dispense pedestal and matching dryer and we are extremely impressed with the entire system. The pedestal combination determines the correct amount of detergent and softener to dispence based on the load, then communicates it's setting to the dry which configures itself for the best drying combination of settings. We are very impressed and would definitely recommend this washer and matching dryer to anyone.

There is a setting for every type of item you may be washing. I can't say enough good about it. When I showed it to a neighbor, he bought one and he loves his as much as I love mine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previous front load washer was another brand, after three years and three breakdowns changed to GE. This washer seems to handle any load with outstanding results and the time saving from the last spin to our dryer and finish of the load of wash is great. Laundry time lessened, unlike our previous washer, now life is good!
