Does the job!

We are happy with the results from this dryer, far superior to our old one, which was not a Frigidaire. We bought both a washer and dryer, both Frigidaire. The only issue has been that the doors of the two open oppositely. We have meant to call the store as had been told it would be made the same, but in fact it is not much of an inconvenience and all else is good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does a great job cleaning the clothes. Its quiet and efficient and the controls are easy to use. However you have to wipe down the rubber lining every time you use it and leave the door open. Otherwise mold builds up and makes your clothes smell bad. I don't like that aspect of the design at all. I hear that this is a problem with most front loading machines. I use a bleach rinse cycle every week which is a waste of water and time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my new washer / dryer! Different settings allow me to wash and dry all clothes according to specific custom needs, including delicate clothing. Dryer settings are wonderful with highest settings drying in very short time. I love the steam settings.

The steam feature is wonderful. I can add non washable items such as chair pads that will freshen and eliminate surface dirt and germs.

Really an upgrade

I replaced my very old Frigidaire with this model. Because it is 3" lower than pretty much anything else on the market, this was the ONLY washer and dryer set that would fit into my closet. I thought I was settling, thinking that higher end or foreign brands, etc were much better. Boy, I was wrong. This is a dramatic improvement from our old Frigidaires. And they look very modern and sleek. I love how adaptable the various setting are. It dries very well and is quiet. I recently used the steam feature to take out wrinkles from a shirt. It wasn't like I'd ironed the shirt, but it was much more wearable. The tiny bit of water that remains in the soap tray is not an issue for me. Overall, very pleased.
