Very good washing machine

We replaced a small Bosch washer with this machine. I have absolutely no complaints.
It is
1. easy to use with clear and intuitive controls,
2. easy to keep clean, as the drawer that holds the liquids is accessible and the parts easily removed,
3. quiet, which is important, as it is in an "L" off our kitchen and not in a separate room,
4. solid-feeling and well-constructed,
5. easy to access the clothing inside, as the doors are very big,
6. getting everything, even extra-large loads, clean.
It is

Good product with some issues

We had this front load washer for a year and the locking mechanism failed. The door would not open and clothes were inside. The repair technician replaced the whole locking mechanism and told us this was a common issue with these itouch washers so beware. Other than that, and the extra care a front load washer needs in general, the washer and dryer have been ideal.

Good washer

I've been completely satisfied with my washer. I've had it now for 8 months and the only issue I had was what I thought to be a leak. Turns out residue can build up on the glass of the door which keeps the seal from...well, sealing properly. But as long as you keep it clean it works just fine!

My Electrolux washer washes in less time and the clothes come out cleaner than my old machine. I am so happy I let the man in the appliance store talk me into buying the Electrolux washer and dryer. My husband says every time he turns around I am doing laundry.

We went with Electrolux because we have owned two other front load washers in the last seven years.
Both of the other washers were manufactured by Whirlpool and we were fed up with the poor quality of those machines. Their life-spans were very short and we had heard good things about Electrolux.
It has only been a few months since we have started using the Electrolux, but we have already noticed it is quieter than previous machines we used. We are also happy with more options available to us for the type of wash we can dial up.

Lovely but not spectacular

This is my 3rd front-loading washer, my 2nd Electrolux, but my first with a pedestal and I must say, it adds a lot. Anyway, back to the washer... I thought it would be a step down from my 4.7 cubic foot Electrolux model (discontinued) but it's not that much smaller. It's nice, but it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that others offer such as specialty cycles and steam. It's nice enough, sturdy enough, but not great. I've only had one balancing issue so far: I think I put too many plush pajamas in one load and it got very heavy; the water just wouldn't spin out, so I had to remove half of the load, let it spin, then put the remainder of the clothes in and let them spin. Other than that, it's been OK.

Love this washer!

I love this washer! The drum is large, and the wash cycles are short. The only thing negative I could say, is that it is not very quiet (but not any louder than my previous front loader, so it doesn't bother me). Love the extra options, like prewash, extra rinse, sanitize cycle. I have had this over a month, and still absolutely love it!
