The best washer I have ever owned

I have had my Electrolux washer for 10 months now and I love it. It is the best waher I have ever own, which is a huge statement for me. I have 3 boys that are all in sports and whatever washer I own is literally running almost 24/7. This is my 3rd washer in 3 years. The quailty of the other two were very poor. This washer cleans our clothes very well and is durable. I will from now on only buy Electrolux washers.

I like it but...

The first ones were installed and the washing machine was stuck on the sanitize cycle. It could not be changed and had to be replaced. The delivery men who replaced it, damaged the wall in our washroom and broke the drawer on the pedestal. They also got grease all over our carpet from their hand truck. So our initial experience was not good. The replacement washer works fine, but I am concerned about the mildew and having to leave the door open, since I sometimes have small children in my home. Also, the door on both the washer and dryer open opposite of what I need for my washroom.

I love it

I purchased my machine in February 2013. It is the best machine I have ever owned. The reversible door is great, my husband had to reverse the door because of a plumbing installation error and he did it with ease.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Functional

I love all the features about this washer. It has so many options that other washers do not have. It is very user friendly and does a great job on getting the laundry clean. Love the lighted interior when you open the door. It makes it so much easier to see to transfer the clothes from the washer to the dryer. I love the over-all apprearance of the appliance, also.

Fast and quiet

Does a full load in half the time of comparable washers. Controls take a little while to get used to but the manual is clear and concise. Nice to have a separate spin cycle for removing water from hand washed items. Cleaned well each time I've used it. LED lights a nice touch.
Would purchase again.

Great machine, but a few caveats

This washing machine performs well and gets the clothes very clean especially the Sanitize cycle so that I don't have to use bleach. I am disappointed that even though you have great flexibility with the settings, you cannot determine how much water to use, even for small loads. Also, after a wash, there appears to be a good amount of water left in the detergent dispenser and other dispensers so that I have to leave the dispenser drawer open to dry it out (along with the door to dry the gasket area). I also had a lot of difficulty figuring out how to use the system clean cycle. When I called customer service, the representative was very patient and tried to walk me through the process, but it still didn't work, so he suggested I call an authorized repairman who came to the house, fiddled with the machine for about 15 minutes and figured out how to make it work. Although this was an educational issue, I did not have to pay for the service call since customer service told me to call--a good result and I'm happy.
