This machine makes doing laundry an event. Now it's fun to do laundry. I love the setting choices and size of the tub.

Very good washer but have had a few problems.

This seems to be, for the most part, a very well built machine but we've had a few problems. One is that it will not spin up some times when washing high water retention items. I've had to ring out towels several times by hand in order for the machine to complete the spin cycle. Second is that the motor has shut off twice sue to overheating with a single load. Third and most recent issue is the door began to separate causing water to leak out onto the floor.
Maybe a different type of glue would be better to hold the pieces of the door together as the glue used in my machine has deteriorated thus causing the water to weep between each section and eventually draining onto the floor.

Dispenser Drawer issues

A month and a half after delivery the dispenser drawer had sticking issues; it wouldn't open. Almost immediately after the repairman left, the drawer wouldn't close properly and he had to come back that night to repair. Now four days later, the drawer won't stay closed; it opens during the wash cycle, during the spin cycle and when not in use. Not helpful when you have toddler and baby clothes to clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this model for about 2 1/2 years and the fabric softener dispenser quit working properly after about the first year. Most the time it doesn't drain, water gets added to it and there is always a tray full of something, usually water and softener mixed. This is pretty frustrating since you have to take the whol drawer out carefully and empty it before doing another load.
The smell from the washer sitting, even sometimes after a day is disgusting. If it sits for any length of time (except after doing a drum clean), watever may be left in the hoses or whatever is just gross.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointing

I am sure we received a lemon so it might not be fair to say the washer is poor quality.however the washer we purchased is poor quality. Stopped spinning with in 32 days. the belt had come off the pully due to a loose fitting. The pully then embedded into the barrel cover allowing for water to infiltrate the motor compartment. So we called for assurance thinking this warrants a new washer . After 3 visits from the resourced vendor and a complete rebuild we had a new basket. No instead of a new washer we have a refurbished unit that does not work well!!! Disappointed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its the little things that count - too bad!

We love the washer. The capacity, the efficiency using cold water, the quietness, and low vibration.
We hate:
having to clean inside the door gasket
no pin trap
having that big dooe inthe way leaving it open to dry the tub after use

So-So

Just got the washing mqchine like 3 weeks ago and had it exchanged 3 times. 1st time washed a load of about 5 pants, 4shorts, and 8 t shirts and the clothes came out dripping wet. Ran just the spin cycle twice and still wet. They replaced the washing machine and then a E35 code appears , exchanges for a 2nd time, and still unsatisfied with the spinning cycle. It suppose to handle a king size comforter, which came out wet, if you load it with 3 or more pants with other clothes will come out wet. So we have come to the conclusion just wash 2 pants per load and you will be alright.

Design flaws

After 6 months, machine stopped working. Repair guy said i was using too much soap even though i always kept soap at minimum line. now i use two tablespoons of tide and that is not enough to get thhe stains out of my kids clothing. Very disappointed.
