Great, when it works

This is a wonderful washer, but I'm very worried about its reliability. After fewer than 40 washes it needed major service. The repair man said that if it had not been under warranty, the repair would have cost nearly as much as we had paid for the washer less than three months before.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Use less soap and is very gentle on clothes. I don't like leaving the washer door open though and if you close it right after you run a load, it smells when you open the door again. Also the electrolux units are bigger (front to back) than the units we had before - didn't realize this til after delivered and too late. It is now quite tight in our already small / narrow laundry room.

Great Washer

We upgraded to this model in our new Condo. Great decision!
It washes, dries and completes the spin cycle very quickly, but best of all the clothes come out very clean. Also, the spin cycle gets the clothes so dry that when it comes time to dry the load, we only use the Normal dryer cycle even when laundering heavy towels and blankets.

Time saver

I was happy with my 16 year old system when it broke down. Now with all these options I hardly iron. Larger machines make doing laundry a minimal job. Balancing system means a quieter experience.

Received the new washer and dryer for Christmas. Has drastically cut down on laundry time. Washes great, quick and easy to use features. Highly recommend!
