Has pros and cons, but overall I'm a fan

We've had this Electrolux front-loader for about 18 months. I didn't realize in advance that they need to be cleaned about once a month (just throw bleach in and run a clean cycle) and the door MUST be left open to air dry. I often forget and am only reminded when our clothes suddenly smell like wet dog. That said, I do love the performance—we added the Pure Wash system (ozone) to it so that we only use cold water, and we never have to worry about stains; blood, red wine, whatever, it's gotten it all clean. I love that I don't have to think twice about throwing delicate items in, or worry that my tank and camisole straps will get tangled up in the machine - my most delicate items have all been safe and sound. Also, I recently moved and needed to flip the doors due to the new house's hookup locations - I couldn't find my user manuals among all the boxes, but customer service was very friendly and gracious, and emailed them to me while we were on the phone. It wasn't the simplest procedure, but I was able to do it on the first try.

What's not to love?

First impression: you open the door and the lights come on slowly and the inside is huge and all the led lights on the control pad turn on. Every possible combination is available. The washer is quiet and sophisticated. My wash is coming out much cleaner than before and it's just delightful to use.

The washer is great. I especially like the adjustable features and the fact that it spins out so well. I wish there were a "lint trap" in the washer. When I wash heavy thing like small scatter rugs, I often see lint and dog hairs in the drum and rubber gasket. I wish there were a filter that could catch all that.

I bought this model since it had a 2nd floor no vibration guarantee but it feels like a jet is going to take off. I could have bought a top load for much less & better quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
