[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dryer out of necessity, as my old Frigidaire finally gave out after 8 years, which was pretty long life, I'm told. The dryer holds a lots of clothes and I like the steam feature to touch-up wrinkled clothes. Overall, a good dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was encouraged to buy this set of W/D by my appliance "friend" at a rather large store in Phoenix. I owned owned and used the dryer for 6 mos. when a part failed and it stopped. Under warranty, the stores' authorized repairman came out one week later! and replaced about 6 parts (to make it dry hotter, to make it a bit quieter, and also to make it work again). That afternoon the machine stopped again - the computer readout stated the same thing...."door is open". I called the repair people and requested another service call....and another week later the service man called me to say he ordered another new part. It took TWO WEEKS for the part to finally come in and another week for the guy to call me about it and set up another install appointment. I was without this dryer for almost a month! The same repairman came each time, grumbling that Frigidaire doesn't pay him for any calls he has to make for appliances under warranty.......so I am guessing that's why he really didn't rush to get my dryer working.
The dryer is finally working well enough now......at least it's not quitting on me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've had this about a month. We love it. It has several features that we didn't think we needed but they work out great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have found this Frigidare product to perform on an average basis. Our laundry does not always dry completely

Little Lou, thank you for sharing your dryer experience with us. There are many factors that can impact drying: The lint filter can be clogged with lint or dryer sheet residue which restricts air flow. You can gently clean your lint screen with mild dish detergent, rinse, and let air dry. The outside exhaust hood or exhaust duct may be clogged, restricted, or has collapsed. The exhaust duct must be at least 4 inches in diameter and make of rigid or semi-rigid metal. If your Dryer is connected to a 208 volt circuit rather than the 240 volt circuit needed, drying times will be 20% longer. I hope I helped! Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth
