Amazing little washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago to replace washer we'd had for 20 years at our vacation home. Needed one that fit in smaller space, uses less water, without agitator. Fit the bill. It cleans great, spins great and has more cycles than I need. Love it!

unreliable buttons on control panel

Although the wash quality is fine, the control panel on mine is unreliable. I often have to make multiple attempts to press the "buttons" (touch-sensitive areas) on the control panel before the action is recognized. THIS IS VERY ANNOYING.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey landlocked, sometimes there is a protective plastic film applied over the control panel. I wonder if yours wasn't removed by your installer, thus causing you to have difficulty with pressing the buttons. Please check and see if the blue plastic film is still on your control panel. Impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is so quiet! It spins clothes almost dry. I use far less detergent (even with the HE) than our previous top load. The only flaw we have seen so far is the star button been finicky twice, it was solved quickly by turning the machine off and on again.

Super compact washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this Electrolux compact washer for over a month. So far it has been exceptional. It has a far bigger capacity than most so called compacts. For a two person household it is more than adequate. For me the compelling feature is that the machine runs on 110v, meaning it can be plugged to any electrical outlet. It has more than enough program cycles. in fact, I think it has too many. For example, there is no difference between the regular cycles that run for around 38 minutes and the casual cycles that can run for the same amount of time. The spin speed is also very high, I'd say almost too high at 1400rpm. Some of my clothes have come out bone dry, but quite wrinkled. Fortunately lowering the final spin helps avoid this. The sanitize cycle is one of my favorites, as an internal heater boosts the water temperature to really clean. It's great for towels and bed linen and soiled garments, and baby clothes. It also has a super gentle wool cycle which very gently and slowly lifts the clothes in the drum. One issue I have which others have also noted is that the touch control buttons often don't respond to your input. It's occasionally frustrating, but can also be fixed by powering on and off. Overall though, this machine cleans superbly and I am more than pleased with the purchase.
