ok washer, some issues later down the road.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i take good care of my belongings, but this washer just likes to be a victim it seems. the rubber seal around the door likes to stick to the glass and pull itself off from time to time....for no apparent reason. the features are killer on this thing, and i like the high efficiency benefits (little detergent used). however, it can and will develop a smell. leave the door open after you finish your laundry for the day...otherwise major smells will arise. very pricey for the machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dry around the washer door opening, flexible gasket, and door glass when finished with laundry. These areas should always be clean to ensure a water tight seal. This should keep the gasket from sticking to the door. A front loading washer has an amazing seal that needs to have a chance to completely dry when laundry is finished. Keeping the door open for a few hours (or longer if feasible), ensures there is no moisture for mildew and odors to grow. Lots of Features in a Small Footprint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace an older top-loader. I had limited space for the washer/dryer if I wanted to be able to close the doors on the laundry closet. Most of the new washers were to large to fit with the door closed. Happy I found this. Quieter than my old washer and seems to clean very well. Although I don't pay for my water, I am happy at the eco-friendliness. I also need to use less detergent than I did previously. It took me a while to learn about the different cycles but between the cycles and the ability to modify settings this machine does everything I need it to do and more. I was worried about the smaller capacity but haven't found it to be an issue. I can easily wash a queen set of sheets with four pillow cases and two or three bath towels. My only complaints so far are minor: Wish it had a reversible door and a handy enlarged chart showing all the cycles and defaults (maybe magnetic sheet?) would be handy to have next to the washer. I did enlarge the page from the owner’s manual with the chart and keep it on the side of the washer.
