Love It!

After extensive research, I purchased this model about 2 months ago after deciding it had the best bang for the buck. The oven heats quickly. The smaller upper oven is good for most purposes, making it more energy efficient. Even in the summer, it doesn't heat up the whole kitchen. Power burner heats a full pot of water quickly. Electronic controls have a firm touch and are intuitive. Stainless steel looks great -- modern and sleek. I'm very happy with this stove and would purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use, and my pastries came out great in the standard oven as well as the convection. You have the option to turn on the convection which is great! Even with the convection oven on, you can't hear a peep, which is also very nice. Looking forward to many more baking projects with this bad boy :-)

My Favorite Stove of All Time!!!

We purchased this Whirlpool Gas Range after our GE Range was struck by lightning 4 months after being installed. I like the Whirlpool much better. It has a better design and overall better quality. We use the upper oven most of the time, which saves energy since we are not heating the larger space. I like the grate on the top, it is easy to slide pans across to another burner. Very attractive white/ice look. Love it, love it, love it!

Dream range

For the past 4 years I had been researching and walking the floors of the appliance stores looking for the range of my dreams. The Whirpool 6.0 double oven range is it. I purchased it several weeks ago and love it . Since I am cooking for only two the top oven is perfect. I've been using a counter top toaster oven for years. Now I only use the top range oven. The lower oven will be great for entertaining. The various sizes of burners is great for the different size pots for efficient heating and the middle burner for a grill pan is great for steaks and pancakes.

We have had this appliance a couple months and this is my opinion of this range. I cook for a family of 7 so my needs may be different from what you may need in a range. I cook primarily with cast iron as well stainless steel stock pots.The ovens are great! They both heat quickly and are easy to navigate the controls. I do have to say heavy items can be tricky to add or remove from the bottom oven. The top oven is great for baking a quick tray of roasted veggies or a small pizza.The range has some flaws that need improvement. 1)The grates move.2)There is this annoying gap between the front of the stove and the grates that food falls in to.To fix these two issues I flipped them around and I am testing this position to see how well it works.3) The higher BTU burners are in the front the grates have an angled edge making it difficult to have large pots balanced properly. My cast iron skillets hang over and I can't center them properly for even cooking.4) The center burner isn't strong enough to properly heat my Griddle and the side burners are not similar enough BTU's to use either.Over all the ovens are the best feature, If you don't cook large amounts of food constantly than this could be for you. I on the other hand cook for & three times a day and will look for a better range next time, probably something more commercial.
