Battery does not last as advertised battery drains down to soon have taken to 2differnt Sprint stores to have looked at no help. Drains down in 4 to 6 hrs and not using most of the time .... My S4 would last all day 14 hrs unless in roaming.
The first thing that comes to mind when looking at this phone is wow. The melding of metal and glass has given this phone the premier feel Samsung has been lacking. The duel edge of the curved glass presents an amazingly futuristic look that sets it apart from every other phone on the market
When it comes to use; I am impressed by Samsung's user interface. Unlike previous versions, it is relatively easy to navigate. The customization is still one of the best on the market. I would have liked to have seen ajustable keyboard hight. The ability to rearrange the apps on the home screen, and the apps menu is a redeeming quality.
The place this phone really shines is in the screen display. Fantastic colors, solid audio, and the absence of a bezel makes watching movies and videos an amazing experience. This carries over in normal browsing and photos as well.
The camera takes a step toward replacing the need for a personal camera. The addition of promode, 3d photo, and the post photo editing features; can transform photos of an amature photographer into frame worthy portraits.
Battery could be better. This is one phone that requires a charging unit of some kind be brought along on any even moderate use. Now the wireless charging option means this isnt as bad as the corded alternatives.
Using the phone on the Verizon network means I've got a better bet than most of having coverage. However this phone isn't the best. In areas with great reception, this phone is great. If your driving through a spotty area, don't be suprised if you drop a call.
The cost of this phone is one area where that premium build hits home. With the 64gb internal storage running $100.00 more than the standard model it means anyone that uses their phone for movies, music, books, or heavy photos is going to have to pony up a nice chunk of change.
The price is steep, but it goes back to the old saying you get what you pay for. This phone has a great deal to offer anyone looking for a premier device.
Last but not least; the unsung. Wireless charging has been touched on before, but it really is a feature that revolutionizes this device. Coupled together with the Samsung Gear VR s6, this phone has the ability to transform how people view movies, games, and reality. This feature can't be understated, as it rrally makes this the phone of the future.
And finally the edge exclusive features. Some of the features from the Note Edge came over, many did not.
The features that did; color display do for select contacts is cool. This would be more interesting if the groups could be given a color and more so than 5. Swop notification and the night clock are both solid features that improve overall quality of phone usage.
Features that did not; side display apps. The ability to put short cut apps into the edge of the Note Edge was geniua. The s6 edge does not have this feature at this time.
The pixels and picture screen quality is by far the best I have seen. The apps that they offer are good. I have noticed and only having the phine for 3 weeks when I want to go from you screen to another it freezes for a few seconds and goes to another that was not selected. The pictures kn the camera are very crisp and bright..thr down fall if it is that you cannot zoom in. Overall the phone great I love it beside having those glitches
