I have had Verizon for as long as I can remember and switched from the Iphone to Samsung when the Galaxy 5 came around and never looked back. This phone is by far the best I have owned. Features are amazing, screen and display are beyond great and the phone itself is very light weight and easy to use. I recommend this for anyone whether it is your first Samsung or your 5th. Totally worth it.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: seems like if it is dropped it will be destroyed

I have been very satisfied with the phone. So far I have had not issues with battery life, which seems to be the main complaint of the phone. It lasts me the whole day and charges very quickly.
