I've been using a Samsung mobile device for several years now. As someone who really, really hates learning how to use a new device, I'm always cautious about upgrading to a new system. Making the switch from the S4 to the S6 Edge has proved painless and much simpler than I thought it would be. The edge features I've used are a great addition. I'm sure I'll find more fun features as I continue using it, but for now, I'm very happy with my device and would definitely recommend it.
Ive always owned a Samsung phone and i couldnt imagine life with out it. The Edge lied up way past my expectations!! Its wonderful! Sometime i can make it freeze for a few seconds but thats with every phone out there. Besides that its wonderful and Im so inlove. The phone is wonderful. I thought itd hate not having a memory card, but i really dont notice it. High fice to Samsung for creating another beast!!
Coming from a long line of Galaxy phones (original Galaxy S, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S4), I like most people was concerned about the lack of sd-card slot and option to swap out the battery. After having used the phone for a couple of weeks now I can say overall I'm happy with the phone.
Most days the phone survives the day on battery power, although some days only just barely. This is by far the biggest weakness with the phone. Fortunately, the phone does charge fast, even with 3rd party chargers. Wireless charging is also very nice and still fairly quick.
As for removable storage, this is less of a concern for me. There are so many options for storage these days. I don't keep music on my phone, I rely on Slacker/Pandora/iHeart/etc for music. I have quite a few pictures and videos I have taken with the phone and still have over half of the available storage free, and that's with only the 32GB model.
There are numerous reports about memory management issues. I truly believe this is an issue with the early versions of Lollipop and not so much the phone. I have heard reports from users of other phones having the same issues. Hopefully 5.1.1 will fix this and the carriers can get it pushed out quickly. Restarting the phone every few days will bring it back to normal.
I never had too much of an issue with using any Samsung product, but so far the S6 Edge has really outdone itself in terms of performance and usage. The clear quality of each picture, and different applications used. The quick response by activating an application is truly fast. The crisp conversations I can have while making phone calls is remarkable. Even the camera has an outstanding quality while taking a photo, and how the photo turns out. I've already have family and friends of mine wanting to swap over to this phone after sharing it with them.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, hd quality
Cons: not as durable as the s5 active
I would recommend this to a friend!
