Serious overheating and delay problems

I'm hoping Samsung gets this fixed soon. The Edge overheats, and the battery life is terrible so far. This is the second one I've had, the first one I returned because I thought it was the individual phone. The replacement has the same issues.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, overheating!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful phone with lots of room for improvements

Have been using this phone for couple of weeks now. Find it really interesting. Performance is really good, fast processor with no issue of apps crashing. I would expect the edge of the screen to support more features and I would expect more edge functionality in future for future handsets. Features that were there in note 4 edge could have been used in the samsung s6 edge as well. Like phone, message etc icons right in the edge that can be accessed within any app with just a slide across the edge screen.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Too big
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome Phone except....

Love this phone as far as performance, display, and size. Just wished it was waterproof. What drew me was the Edge but that's bitter sweet as there are very limited cases and what cases are out there I'm not seeing any that are waterproof. As for no expandable memory, well 32gb is perfect for me. I'd say immaculate if the price was a little better and yes, it was waterproof.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: not waterproof like the s5

Great smartphone but the gimmicks are not worth the price.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a sleek, beautiful, and fast device however it falls short with the gimmicky functions and high price.
The S6 Edge's design is very unique to current phones. While somewhat bulky, it maintains good weight and a slick feel. The Edge curvature feels fantastic and despite the fragile look, it's rather sturdy and can be operated with no fuss of your finger "flying off". It honestly feels natural as your finger glides across the screen and on the sides.
It sports a faster processor over the S5 and easily glides through multiple apps and windows. One of my favorite features of the S6 Edge is the improved multi screen application. Not only has the application widened the amount of apps that can use it, it also allows for minimization of apps into a window and allows the user to move it around like a web browser window on your desktop!
With the good comes with the bad though. The S6 Edge program apps of the Big 5 and the Edge functions are not that impressive and very lacking. To inform you, the Big Five allows the user to select 5 particular contacts for easier access of contacting as well as being notified by their contacting you while the Edge functions allow the user to swipe the Edge's sides, in a locked screen, to display time, alarm, weather, and other notifications. I was hoping that both would have a large part in the phone's functions, as it was greatly advertised to do so, and even allow more options and variety in notifications - this is unfortunately not the case.
It's incredibly frustrating to get the Edge function to work properly. By the time it takes me to swipe and get any display up, I could easily have hit the power button and see any and all notifications and time and be done. Just not worth the hassle with the Edge function.
My last complaint is the price - it's not worth it. The S6 and S6 Edge are identical in performance and power. The only thing that separates them is the Edge's design and functions. Though the design is nice, the functions alone are pitiful and nowhere helps the device reach it's full potential. For the S6 Edge to sell at a much higher price than the S6 seems like a sad joke, but it's true.
Overall, I'm still pleased with my S6 Edge. It's all that I wanted with a smartphone and even has a new feel to it; but I could have gone for a S6, spent less, and be just as happy!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast processor, edge screen is unique and nice, modified split screen applications
Cons: Too big, edge specific functions are too gimmicky, too expensive for what little it offers over s6, unable to add additional memory
I would recommend this to a friend!
