Now Samsung IS the Cutting EDGE!

Nice job Samsung. Still not sure about going to non-replaceable battery and no MicroSD. Now you let the carrier overcharge you for the needed memory. Plus lose the ease of use transferring large amounts of data unless you go MicroUSB to USB. That work around is OK. I bet that as the S6 and S6 Edge get updated the MicroSD will come back. These are the only 2 potential negatives to the phone.
Phone is fast, great resolution. A little slippery to the touch. It will take time to get used to. One issue with the rear camera lens protrusion is since the phone is so slick/slippery if you put it on a cloth or non textured surface with a non flat profile chances are the phone will slip from where you put it especially if you use vibrate. Just watch it.
Great looking and function packed phone.

I personally made a big change switching to this phone, but I still reviewed it as anyone else would. The S6 Edge is a really elegant phone compared to the flat screen design you'll usually find on the market. And the design complements the overall functionality and value of the phone itself very well I thought (a more seamless experience).The glass back and screen resist scratches and smudges well enough to allow a careful user some time to pick accessories; regardless of color, you probably won't want to hide the phone's sleek look behind a case, so consider see-through. Also, the size is very comfortable for most users (the display is 5.1 inches).
i really enjoy being able to customize the user interface; the edge screen's features like the information stream which highlights top news without even unlocking the phone is more comfortable, as well as the night clock. There are also many already-installed features like backgrounds and ringtones that may keep you from having to find a new one.
The camera takes very nice quality front and back pictures for the average photographer, and maybe even some more perks for more experienced photographers. I tried taking a photo at night under street lights, and even that image came out with nice detail. However, sometimes the photo lags before taking a picture. In addition, external features like the headphone jack and speakers are positioned at the bottom of the phone which can definitely work in your favor.
The apps run smoothly one after the other, and it's easy to switch between them. I've had no issues with freezing. They also download quickly over the easy to use Play Store.
The only spec to the phone I would have liked to see is a longer battery life. I do use my phone in some ways or another every day, so charging the battery every day can get in the way sometimes, not to mention pose a threat when commuting or anything like that. The charger, however, is fire and charges it faster than any other charger I've ever used on any device; that does help make up for the shorter battery life. Unfortunately I do think that's a big part of the reason for not giving the phone 5 stars. Anyway, I think the average user may not find a problem with the battery life.
Even without having explored it that far, I'd give this phone a 4/5! This is my first Samsung phone and I am very satisfied with it. I look forward to trying more of their work.

Love this phone except for battery life.

I have had this phone for almost 2 weeks now and I love it except for the battery. Battery will not last a day on a charge. It is even losing juice whole I am sleeping. Just to check I charged battery to 100% then went to bed. Checked phone next morning and it was at 72%. Hopefully there is a fix for this soon.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: poor battery life., poor sound quality from the speaker.

I've used every smartphone on the market since 2010. And samsung galaxy s6 edge is without a doubt the best.. thank you samsung and keep it going I'm loyal to the best..

Pretty much everything about this phone is amazing. I love the way it feels in my hand, it's super smooth and fast, and I haven't found anything wrong with the phone yet. The best phone yet by Samsung. The only thing I would like see is more apps designed for the edge bar.

There is not quite like this phone. Once you use it, a regular phone feels weird. The only issue would be that I think there needs to be more apps and features for the edge part. The rest is great. Smooth OS, good overall.
