Not the most substantial or practical phone, but the Samsung software is solid

I owned a Samsung s5 that was nearly indestructible - I loved it. However, after dropping it a million times while out running, it finally met its fate. I definitely got my money's worth out of that phone though. So, I went to the cell phone store and made the uneducated decision to buy the S6 Edge. I didn't know much about the phone, but it was a newer model and I liked the size. It's very slick (as in slippery), especially due to the "edge" design. Within two days of owning this phone, the back got a massive crack in it, not because it was dropped, but because the phone was tapped "just so" on a corner. This phone is horribly slippery and fragile, so unless you already have a safety case for the phone, don't buy it. I wish I could have waited for the s7 to come out, but I needed a phone at the time. If I had been more educated, I would have bought the s6 Active, because they are less fragile and more water resistant. In short, I am disappointed with the structure and design of the phone - no one wants their brand new phone to be banged up within a two days of owning. I understand most people will call the damage a user error, which it is to a degree. Nonetheless, the software is still holding up and I'm quite happy with that. Would I recommend this phone to someone? No. I'd recommend the s6 Active or the s7 (which is also a bit hardier).
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, good software
Cons: fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing pictures!

This phone all around great! The pictures it takes are so pristine and clear! I've gotten so many compliments on how good the pictures are. The only downside is that the edge of the screen is very sensitive. When you lock it there's a chance that you could accidentally touch it before it locks. But other than that it's a wonderful phone.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: Too big
