Well I had to make an insurance claim because my Samsung s6 Active went out and it couldn't be fixed so I was basically forced to get this phone being I was still paying on my other one. I enjoy it very much, the only thing I don't like is the raised screen because I have 3 kids and I feel like if they get a hold of it and drop it on the floor there's no saving the screen!! This is week two and I'm still waiting for my case to come in (bought from New York) and I HAVE dropped it a handful of times already and so far it's good but I'm trying not to take any chances because I REALLY don't have money to be paying on another phone!!
So yes I only got to play with the demo and have a look at the S6 Edge but I can only say that the 1 hour I sat playing with the Edge I cannot wait until my preorder gets here. I have never seen a screen so sharp and clear. I tried the camera, edge settings and played with as many features i could. The camera snapped up and the images I took were fantastic and beautiful. Having been a smart phone owner since they first came out I can say this is the most exciting phone I have ever seen. I will add more to my review after owning the S6 for a while but if it is half the phone my S4 has been I know I will be more than satisfied.
I can't believe how awesome the build quality feels on this phone. Just got mine today and it's simply amazing. Sooo fast. absolutely beautiful. I check out the edge and non edge version. The edge version is excellent. Feels great in the hand. Screen is mind blowing sharp. Color is superb. Camera is incredible.
Samsung has released an amazing phone here. Do yourself a favor and get one. I switched over from the iOS phone and couldn't be happier.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, build materials, sharpness of display, fast charging, 64gb, touchwiz after 5.0, camera is blazing fast, finger print scanner works great, sim tool included
Cons: wish it was 5.2-5.3"
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros: 1. This phone is EXTREMELY FAST. Quad-Core. 64 Bit. 3GB RAM. Even with many start up programs, such as Facebook, Twitter, ESPN, etc , the phone starts up and runs in seconds.
2. The screen is BEAUTIFUL. At 1440 x 2560, it's crystal clear, and easy to read. The Edge feature is a bit under-used and glitchy in my opinion, but Android is always working on upgrades.
3. The battery life is good. It lasts me about 2 full days of medium/heavy use. Yes, the battery does not come out, but if you plan to keep this phone for only 2 years then upgrade, whats the difference?
4. This phone's design is the best I've ever seen on a Samsung product. This is my third Samsung phone, (in 8 years) and I can tell that the Gorilla Glass and metal construction on this phone are premium and built to last.
Cons:
1. The biggest con I can see is the price. It's a great phone, but simply not worth the $$$ they ask for it. Perhaps when the phone is around for 6-12 months the price will come down?
2. Samsung Bloatware. After the S4 and the S5 we were told the S6 would have "less" bloatware included in it......it's a lie. The S6 Edge has tons of useless apps that will never be used by me, and I had to DISABLE( can't uninstall) them just to get everything under control.
3. Android 5. (Lollipop) It's not as intuitive as it's previous versions, or maybe that's just the way Samsung sets it up.....I find myself digging deep in many sub-menus just to do basic things. That's subjective though.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast processor, 3gb ram, metal/glass construction
Cons: high price, bloatware, android 5 lollipop

I love the design, its not like anything out there. The phone feels great to hold and I could care less how "usefull" the edges are. THEY LOOK AMAZING! The design is worth the extra 100 bucks for me. My only real issue with the device is how buggy it can be. A lot of the apps and keyboard can be slow to open and lags when swiping. Would love to see an update for performance and battery life. The screen is BEAUTIFUL! Unfortunately, my device was one that arrived with the superficial scratches on the front panel. It was disappointing but doesn't take away from usability or resolution.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, design, features
Cons: scratches on front panel, laggy at times
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun new phone (needs more edge apps)

I really like the new Galaxy S6 Edge. The curved screen takes some getting used to. i like how the phone feels in my hands. Very slippery at times, but overall very comfortable. The phone gets quite hot under continuous use. Not so much that I can't hold it, but hot. Could come in handy in winter operation... Battery life is short, but it is new and I haven't figured out all the battery saving features yet. Biggest complaint is apps for the edge functions. DEVELOPERS - Please make new apps for the edge. Also the current edge functions time out too quickly. They don't have time to stay on and be functional. They time out and disappear. Needs an option to leave edge features on. not sure the effect of the battery life.
All in all a really good phone. Picture quality is great. Video quality is great.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: not enough edge function apps
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had My S6 edge for a week now and have had the opportunity to try it out in every way. The screen is beautiful, the updates for Health are great, the speed it exciting and the phone is just flat enjoyable to use.
I fine the positioning of the buttons to be out of the way and easily accessible and the size to be perfect for my hand. Even my wife who has smaller hands found it to be comfortable. The screens sharpness and clarity is the best I have seen and Samsung will have to really up their game to wow me this much again.
Cons: While I find the memory size to be wonderful I would like to be able to add more if I desire. I use the cloud services a lot anyway but still the option would make this phone perfect. The other thing I has an issue with is the wireless charger. While the charger works great it seems that once it charges the phone it stops and for overnight charging the phone has began depleting and is around 90% in the morning. while this is not a killer problem I like to start my day at 100% .
In short the cons are so small they are not worth worrying about.
