base blade no good

We used this blender to make salsas and Chile colorado. It was the best blender I had ever purchased but shortly after months, it started to leak. I have attempted to get the part replaced by B&D and totally disappointment .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a reasonably priced object that exceeded my expectations. It's easy to use and convient because of the to go container.

I bought this blender because it was recommended by a friend! Worst purchase ever, I've only used it a couple of times since October and the plastic base leaks...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this blender, use it every day!

We bought this blender a year or so ago, and I use it every morning. Unfortunately the blade just fell out a few days ago and chopped up some of the chopper lid before I could turn it off. Luckily we had bought extra bottles that came with an extra chopper, so I can keep using it, but it was really nice having 2, and kind of scary when it came off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this appliance as well. It was a Mother's Day gift from my husband. Love my berry smoothies. It does a much better job than my big blender. Unfortunately, mine just did the exact same thing. It was making a funny noise. I unsnapped it from the base. There was some smoke. The blade had dropped out of the base and was loose. It was shaving the plastic in rings from the base as it spun. :( How do I get a new base piece?
