Automatic updates

My phone was just wonderful. I own my phone not samsung nor my carrier. But samsung took it upon themselves to do updates. It locked me out of email by changing my password. Also locked my phone and wasnt able to get certain apps back. I wish they would leave my phone alone. I had it set up to call certain family members very easily. I have medical conditions that can be life threatening. By changing my contacts I feel they have made it much harder for me to use after a seizure. Thus possibly putting my life in danger. Thank you Samsung
Cons: automatic updates you can't stop

This was a great phone until they came out with all the other generations and then phone got slower. My fingerprint for my lock screen stopped working randomly and the phone gets really warm. My phone also sounds like the battery is about to explode sometimes.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

I got my S6 a little over two years ago, and it has served me very well.
Snappy performance, gorgeous AMOLED display, great camera.

The only real gripe I have is the bloatware from the carrier, but that doesn't say anything about the phone itself.
Otherwise, a fantastic device. I can't recommend it to anyone in 2018 though, as it is three generations old, and there are faster devices available from Samsung.

Graet phone but having fingerprint problem when i open fingerprint it says fingerprint initalizing failed..and it shows me that my phone is uncertified...please help me..

Bad battery power

I had a samsung S6 before and it broke so I decided that I was so happe with my S6 that I gonna buy one again, so when I receive my new phone the battery was down in less than 6 hours without using my phone much. I thought of I charge it again it will be better after the second charge but no it is working for max 6 hours and dies after that. So am really disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the galaxy s6 is more than just a replacement for the galaxy s5. instead of just upgrading a few features, samsung reinvented there previous effort and incorporated new features with double the memory to give you a whole new phone.
