Superb feature

I just got the home theatre. Lifestyle 135 . The demo at store outlet blew me off my seat and I did not even bother to look at the cost of what I m buying .... I still can't believe only 1 soundbar and such an amazing sound effect. I am sure that no one would be disappointed.

NICE WHEN IT WORKS RIGHT!

I have had the Bose LS 135 II for almost two years. The system is great when it works right. Every once in a while the cable box selection comes up on the screen saying the signal is to low and needs to be adjusted and there is no picture or sound. I have messed with the cables removed the cable box from the system and reinstalled it and many other fixes that sometimes work and sometimes not. It is becoming annoying since there is no one way that seems to fix the problem and I can't adjust the video signal from the cable box.

Great Sound but missing some standard features

The system sounds great. One of the best features of the system is the universal remote. It works with practically any device in your entertainment system. It lacks some HDMI inputs (only three) for a system that is supposed to be your media hub.
Major complaint is the lack of built in wi-fi and bluetooth. The system comes with a wifi adapter but if you want bluetooth you have to shell out more money. It would be nice if you could integrate the usage of Bose headphones, for those times when the family is asleep.
Overall we love our system but the interface seems a little outdated.

We appreciate your purchase of the 135 system. Your feedback on the sound quality and flexibility of the universal remote is great to hear.

This system does have a headphones jack and Bluetooth capabilities and we can explain how to access those. The headphone jack is the 1/8-inch headphone jack on the front of the control console. Keep in mind, connecting headphones does mute the speakers but it sounds like that is your intention here for usage late at night.

Here are the steps for Bluetooth pairing from the SoundTouch app:

1. In the SoundTouch app, choose EXPLORE > SETTINGS > System settings.
2. Choose the Bluetooth-enabled SoundTouch system from the list of systems on the network. The details screen for that system appears.
3. Choose "Bluetooth" from the system details screen.
4. Choose "PAIR" next to "PAIR NEW DEVICE." The app shows at the top of the app showing the system is ready to pair. If the system has a display, its display will also show that it is ready to pair.

Great features, difficult to set up

I installed this system last weekend. We purchased it so we could put both the Bose console and all components behind a wall. It's nearly impossible to set up the system when it's not in the same room (no one at the store mentioned that) because you have to see the screen and respond. When you try to teach it remotes, sometimes it works other times it doesn't. Other universal remotes like Harmony allow you to insert brand and model numbers to determine how the universal remote should work, you have to "teach" it. When you try to manually select a remote standard brands such as Samsung were not in the list. It took 4 attempts to get it to learn my Tivo remote, 5 attempts to get it to learn Samsung TV remote and 3 attempts to get it to learn Samsung DVD player remote. A couple of times it got hung up while "processing". Once installed, it seems to work well and sounds great (other than it's inability to turn on and off TV with system if desired). Given the price point of these products they should be easy to set up. If you're not computer savvy I would stay away from purchasing this. Or purchase the speakers and select another universal remote rather than a system with a console.

Typical Bose sound

This is a Great product, I have had mine now for about 8 months. I have noticed that in order to really get the theatre sound you need to turn the volume up loud, als the refresh rate is only a 60, so the night time scenes in the program are fuzzy. It is a great system though.

Lifestyle Soundtouch going to sleep

Great sound but... When hooking top the system to PS4 and using headphones, the Soundtouch goes to sleep every 10min. How can you turn that feature off!!!! Had to disconnect it for now!
